Terrible lizards trapped by terrible Flood
Tas Walker
A trail of fossilized claw marks found in northern Spain reveals the desperation of animals struggling to escape drowning in the Genesis Flood.
...
That the footprints were preserved at all indicates the dinosaurs were engulfed by abnormal conditions. Today footprints are quickly obliterated, especially on a beach or in a strong current. But in the sandstone in Spain even the delicate features of the scratches were preserved, which means that sediment covered the tracks (and the ripple marks) soon after the dinosaur struggled past...

ping!
Poor, poor lizards.
Any fossils of the talking snake, yet?
The talking snake is alive and well. Haven't you read the headlines lately? The serpent's work is everywhere.
The talking ass on the other hand, was an ordinary ass. It’s fossil would look no different.
LOL. Now fossils are proof of creationism. That lizard can’t be more than 6,000 years old, right. This is rich. LOL.
One of them was seen biting someone’s sister.
They are quite common really, Washington DC is run over with them.
No, don’t be ridiculous... it’s just the NYT abandoning ship when He Who Shall Not Be Named destroyed the country.
>>The talking ass on the other hand, was an ordinary ass.
>They are quite common really, Washington DC is run over with them.
Why don’t they open up Ass season there then? I’m sure our hunters and/or military would be glad to reduce the Ass population of DC... ;)
The question you ask is meaningless, please rephrase.
You’re so clever.
Logical fallacy that God can to anything He wants. Try again.
Welcome to FR.
“A trail of fossilized claw marks found in northern Spain reveals the desperation of animals struggling to escape drowning in the Genesis Flood.”
Ah, where to begin with this one?
The Journal of Creation, or whatever Robert Tilton-equivalent site produced this drivel is a blight upon true Christianity. Christians are not stupid, and we object strongly to being portrayed as feeble-minded by association with this crap.
Even if we accept that the tracks were the result of a flood, why couldn’t it have been a local flood that happened millions of years ago? Is the author claiming that standard paleontology and geology say that floods never happened?
You seem like an expert. Was the talking ass from Tennessee?
LOL!
I always love the Discovery channel shows that follow this type of story. Seems for some reason almost every time they discover such a site there was an unexplainable amount of bones in one area where a river bed used to be.
There is so much evidence for a global flood it ain’t even funny!
Imagine that!
Fossils preserving fables and myths...
Anything imaginary can create anything equally imaginary.
Surely the talking ass is still alive too, since you posted a reply to it?
It? I posted a reply to the talking ass? Was it from Tennessee?
Seems to be working ok for you.
Are you asking me if you talk to yourself?
Ask your husband.
You’re a pretty quick retread!
Have they developed new technology?
Well, your previous comment implies that the person I commented to, was the talking ass.
You did type it, didn’t you?
Oh. I see.
And your preferred explanation for the subject of this thread is based upon what?
Just for fun:
If you look at what it means, it turns out that the
phrase “so heavy he can’t lift it” implicitly assumes that there’s a
maximum size rock God can lift. I.e. it’s roughly equivalent to
“there exists a mass M, where God can’t lift any rock heavier than M,
and the rock R is heavier than M.” Because we deny the idea that
there is a limit on God’s power, we think the phase doesn’t actually
describe any possible thing. So it’s no different than asking whether
God can make a square triangle.
Also, while it’s fun to ridicule fundamentalist crevos, you are on a website where about 90% of the members are religous.
Spouting off on things you learned from bill maher’s religulous isn’t very impressive.
JMHO
How refreshing. Please fill us in on the reality of this particular situation.
Wouldn’t the reality be that it’s all imaginary?
No, my previous comment implied correctly that Dan had replied to an ass.
The apes at DC where this retread hails from are easy to impress.
What's not easy for them is understanding that God is beyond the hazy lumpy limited world that they inhabit, and what tyey call logic has been declared foolishness by God.
What ship, and what animals?
Moses never had to deal with any water, since the sea was parted for him and the Israelites to cross.
Sigh.
The question you posed, assumes there is a limit on the size rock God can lift.
God cant make a square triangle because a triangle is a triangle.
God can’t make a rock that even he can’t lift because there is no llimit to the size rock God can lift.
By the way I lifted the quoted passage in my original post to you from one of the thousands of sources where your question, that has been posed hundreds of thousands of times by hundreds of thousands of people for many, many years, has been considered.
You don’t know anything about what I believe or don’t believe and it is irrelevant to this discussion.
And once again, to be clear, my objection isn’t to your debating of this question but rather the fact that it is so boring an exercise.
Wow! your ignorance of lions is almost equal to your general ignorance of everything. Lions drag their prey back to their dens. They also grind the bones to rubble, and the jackals finish the job after they're done.
Off one and on to the other... Thanks for the intelligent discourse.
K’ I’ll take the bait. The scenario you describe would not be remotely related to the one I’m speaking of. Next time you’re watching one of those shows pay attention to what they are finding... large amounts of fossils of different types of animals piled up in the same place and deposited at the same time. Much different than the scenario you describe. The evolutionist, anti-creationist, atheist commentators are the ones generally describing the river or body of water that must have suddenly and inexplicably overtaken the animals in question.
Deny all you like, but the evidence is there.
