Liberals told to leave
Tulsa World ^ | 3/7/09 | Randy Krehbiel

(An instructor for a hunter safety course orders Obama voters to get out of his class.)

Thirteen-year-old Lane Dunkley just wanted to go hunting with his grandfather.

What he got was a lecture on politics.

Dunkley and his father, Daniel Reddy, who live in Tulsa, went to Broken Arrow on Tuesday night for a hunter safety course normally required to get an Oklahoma hunting license.

The class was a reward of sorts. Dunkley, who wants to go hunting with his grandfather, was told he could take the class only if he brought up his grades.

So he did — to a B-plus average.

But when father and son arrived at the lesson, the volunteer instructor, Kell Wolf, asked if any of the students voted for President Barack Obama.

Reddy, a transplanted Californian — and former Marine — raised his hand.

According to Reddy and others in the room, Wolf called Obama "the next thing to the Antichrist" and ordered Reddy and Dunkley from the room. When Reddy refused, Wolf said he would not teach "liberals" and would cancel the course if Reddy didn't leave.

The instructor’s behavior seems completely appropriate to me.

The day after the election I fired an employee who was an open Obama supporter. If more employers took this attitude we wouldn’t have a Communist in the Oval Office.

Why should anyone here have a problem with making traitors or supporters of traitors pay a price?

>> You do not have the right in the First amendment to harass people.

That’s correct providing your definition of harassment is correct in terms of the law. Your displeasure with his conduct may not be a violation of law, however.

You said Wolf’s behavior was that of a spoiled child. I’d like to hear Wolf’s side of the story given his otherwise exemplary record as described in the article.

Does that include classes for the teaching of abortion?

You have no moral compass, and you hate liberty. Why would you even want to be here?

You know, you really only have to convince one person that I don't belong here, and I'd be gone with a keystroke.

You’re 100% correct. It’s a conservative myth that our servicemen are uniformly conservative. I visited Ft. Polk in October, and I was absolutely shocked that McCain’s level of support wasn’t almost unanimous. There were a lot of Obama supporters in uniform.

So he doesn’t accidentally shoot you or anyone else.

See, I’ve got this old fashioned notion that your conscience is yours and yours alone. You seem to have embraced the Soviet model that a conscience coerced is every bit as good. It’s not. Pity you can’t fathom the difference.

Conservatism wins when conservative ideals are embraced. It gains nothing when someone coerces outward compliance to the same values without a genuine conservative underpinning. Conservatism works because liberty, capitalism, and responsibility work. Socialism, tyranny, and welfare in all of its forms do not. It’s really that simple.

No, being an idiot for not teaching gun safety to kids is worse. Attaching political ideology to it is absurd nonsense.

I smell a plant.

I'm sure that there are hunters AND former Marines who would vote for Obama.

I'm also certain that there are more liberals who who vote Obama, say that they were former Marines, and join a hunter safety course just to stir up trouble.

What in the HELL is going on here? Why are all these people involved using all these different names?

“The father” - step, I think is

http://www.myspace.com/devilledan

there and

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-SidJEQYjc6fp55phXJI-?cq=1&p=83

there. This is a blog entry in which he goes moonbat:

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-SidJEQYjc6fp55phXJI-?cq=1

Now here is where he admits to altering his (and his wife’s) names in real life:

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-SidJEQYjc6fp55phXJI-?cq=1&p=83

So, from what I can gather, his REAL name is Daniel Emmanuel Winters aka Daniel Reddy (entry #4).

But the “mother” us also chock full of aliases:

??? Something is REALLY off here, I think the “aging grandfather” part was the kicker for me.

Last I heard my former employee has been evicted and the car has been repo’d. I’m also challenging the Unemployment claim because I made it clear during the hiring process that there is no room in my company for liberals or DemonRats. Thus, the individual lied when I asked about political leanings and was subsequently insubordinate, a particular concern in my line of business.

Supporting a traitorous rat of a President and a Congress full of quislings is not a matter of conscience. It is treason. The SOB got what he deserved. If more employers would take this approach we’d have a real conservative in the White House and the DemonRAT party and its followers would be eradicated.

Agency cans hunter safety instructor

A volunteer instructor for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation has learned that hunting and politics don’t necessarily mix.

Earlier this week, a group of people were attending a hunter safety course that is required to get a hunting license in Oklahoma when the instructor asked if anyone had voted for President Barack Obama.

“Denying the kid a hunter safety class when he can’t even vote because his dad voted for Obama is wrong.”

Agree.

And now the son will have something to form an opinion with regarding the right.

What an idiot. A perfect opportunity to educate an Obama voter who values freedoms the O might very likely try to pillage. Now instead of taking advantage of an opportunity to pick off a “D” voter, he just makes the guy think conservatives and maybe gun owners, are nuts.

"The Tulsa World....is a anti-American, lying Liberal fish wrap if there ever was one.... Would not surprise me in the least...if this was all a bunch of B.S. "

Bingo. It is no coincidence that the Tulsa gun show is less than a month away. The "World's Largest Gun Show" is no small event, it draws a huge crowd. You won't see an Obama-Biden bumper sticker. Before that, there were no Kerry, Gore, or Clinton stickers, either. What a wonderful way to smear your political enemies. And don't let anyone try to tell us that these "journalists" really don't think/act this way.

I guess...from most accounts that the story is in fact true.

But it wouldn't surprise me....if this whole thing was a set-up by the "Ex-Marine" and his kid....

And they ran straight to the Tulsa Squirrel to report it. Yeah, right...that's what I do when something goes wrong for me, I run straight to a newspaper!!

You admit that your client is the Department of Defense and then you admit publicly that you 1) fired an employee for his political views and 2) you fabricated a story with the unemployment commission that your employee was fired for cause.

How dumb are you?

Aside from the fact that liberal blogs that will go unnamed for now have picked up on your very indefensible posts, if your former employee is smart, and I hope he is, I hope he notifies the DoD of your admitted conduct, the DoD pulls your contract, and he then sues you for libel.

If you were working for a political advocacy group, I might understand your viewpoint. But as a federal contractor, you cannot fire people for how they voted.

The fact that you are gloating about your former employee being evicted and having his car repossesed is just sickening.

Mea culpa time.

As it happens, WheresMyBailout’s comments represent an accurate interpretation of the law—as made clear to me by others over the last two days.

After praying on this I’ve decided I will settle the matter by making the former employee whole and some, even though it steams me that I can’t run a business that I capitalized in the way I see fit.

Nevertheless, I’m taking my lumps and moving on. As my attorney said, the cost of winning isn’t worth the collateral damage.

I can’t blame the guy for feeling like he does.

I don't blame him for feeling that way either.

I have a number of colleagues that voted for Obama - and are now surprised that he's doing EXACTLY what he said he'd do.

I keep asking, "Weren't you listening?" The honest ones admit they were just voting against Bush. And these are by all other accounts fairly intelligent people! Scary.

>The honest ones admit they were just voting against Bush.<

But Bush wasn’t even in the race!

It’s like I keep saying.
These voters are insane and impossible to reason with.
Most of the people running had that same overall theme though.

“Vote for me. I’m not Bush!” The man wasn’t even running.
How can people take it seriously?

The whole 'paint McCain as Bush' strategy was so obvious that I thought it would backfire. It was an insult to our intelligence. How could anyone fall for that?

Imagine my surprise.
