SNIPPET: "Nytta Norton of Bryant, Alabama, says her son, 48-year-old Bob Norton, has been serving as director of Adventist Medical Aviation - Venezuela.

SNIPPET: "She says searches have failed to locate the plane he was piloting, which also carried his wife, two adults accompanying two sick children, and a missionary who taught at an Adventist school.

Norton says her son "grew up with a missionary spirit and was carrying on for his dad," who was killed while piloting a missionary plane that crashed 29 years ago in Mexico."

I agree.

Prayers for the family and friends of the missionaries and all on board that plane.

I’d say an accident occurred if it hadn’t happened in Venezuela.

“...says he and his six passengers have been missing more than three weeks and may have crashed in the jungles of Venezuela.”

” ...his dad,” who was killed while piloting a missionary plane that crashed 29 years ago in Mexico.”

“..but she isn’t heartbroken.”

Sounds like this was the expected outcome all the way around.

I like your reply to the thread Re the Missionary missing in Venezulia. I live near his mother in Alabama and met him perhaps 10 years ago with his aircraft. I appreciated teh drive he had to help others. I am also a born again christian..
