Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained documents from the Department of Defense (DOD) detailing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's multiple requests for military air travel. The documents, obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), include internal DOD email correspondence detailing attempts by DOD staff to accommodate Pelosi's numerous requests for military escorts and military aircraft as well as the speaker's last minute cancellations and changes. The following are a few highlights from the documents, which are linked in full below:

So, from one side of her mouth she’s criticizing the auto CEOs for taking their private jets to Washington?
And out of the other side she’s requesting military aircraft that is costing the taxpayer Lord knows how much money?
Why am I not surprised?

They are causing the unemployment of aircraft workers by demonizing private aircraft and by demonizing corporate travel to resorts.
However, these Dems use the most expensive government jets that they can find!
Global Warming is pushed down our throats, but these libs don't have to worry about THEIR “carbon footprint”???

Congress and Executive branch officials need to be individually taxed upon the ACTUAL cost of the perquisites they receive, not some dumbed down market equivalent.

Sam Rayburn, one of the greatest Speakers, lived in a small apartment in DC. In the 1940s and 50s, as Speaker, and at the height of his power...
He walked to work. Close to two miles each way.

Probably why the Pope issued a public statement in writing, after meeting with Pelosi. If the Pope knows, only the Obamaloons don’t.
I wonder will PRAVDA tell the people about Pelosi’s private jets paid for by the taxpayer.

Can someone tell me if Hastert used the 757 during his tenure? A lunatic I work with claimed he did use the 757 or whatever military designation during his time as speaker. So therefore it is okay for the princess crack whore to use it.

This woman truly thinks she is a Queen!
Does anyone doubt she sideswiped Hillary’s election now?

He may have used it now and then, but for normal commuting purposes, he had a little 12-seater plane.

That is absolutely not true.
This particular aircraft was demanded, by Pelosi, because the former airplane that she was using might have to touch down, in flyover country, to refuel, if she encountered headwinds, and she thought it was a “matter of National Security” that she not be forced to land.
(In anything other than a Blue state)

Hastert had a ~10 passenger Gulfstream, I think. It was a small jet, capable of transcontinental flight. It was what was originally offered to Pelosi before she demanded the 757. I believe the executive jet is customary for the speaker.

I’m sure the military could find a plane that is, let’s say.........5 years overdue for maintenance?
