ALBANY - Call it an un-cover charge.
A Brooklyn assemblyman introduced a bill yesterday that would require patrons to pay the state $10 every time they visit a strip club or topless joint.
Felix Ortiz, a Democrat, said the flesh fee could raise as much as $500 million for victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual abuse and child prostitution.

You think N.O.W. will complain that this tax unfairly targets men?

Seems fair that patrons of strip clubs should also have some skin in the game.

With this tax, all evil as described in the article will immediately cease. Similar to the philosophy that electing Obama will create world peace by January 20, 2009. /s

Felix Ortiz, a Democrat, said the flesh fee could raise as much as $500 million for victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual abuse and child prostitutionThey could have raised that amount simply by taxing Eliot Spitzer's little perversions...
I'll start believing that Democrats are concerned about victims of human trafficking when they take concrete steps to tackle the flood of illegal immigration into the US (but I won't hold my breath)...

The best part is you get to slip the tax, a dollar bill at a time, into David Paterson’s G string.

I must admit, since it’s inception, I have failed to help support the new $5 strip bar tax in Texas. I should remedy that soon.

Seems fair that patrons of strip clubs should also have some skin in the game. Why is that? Do you pay an extra tax at a movie? How about a bowling tax? Are you in favor of that too?

Good idea. Let’s charge lobbyists $100,000 every time they enter a government office building to solicit legislative matters.
Former members of Congress retain access even when they become lobbyists. Which is why the “access” they have is so lucrative when they leave office.

I say do it. The scum in congress love porn and hate virtue. The least they can do is tax the heck out of porn. Then, maybe som emen would not cheat on their wives if they had to pay so much for it.

2009 Tax Code
The only thing that the IRS has not taxed yet is the male penis.
This is due to the fact that 69% of the time it is hanging around unemployed, 10% of the time it is hard up, 20% of the time it is pissed off and 1% of the time it is in the hole. On top of that, it has two dependents and they are both nuts!
HOWEVER, effective January 1st, 2009, the penis will now be taxed according to size:
The brackets are as follows:
10 - 12" Luxury Tax $ 300.00
8 - 10" Pole Tax $ 250.00
5 - 8" Privilege Tax $ 150.00
3 - 5" Nuisance Tax $ 30.00
Males exceeding 12" must file capital gains.
Anyone under 3" is eligible for a tax refund.
