Ok, he is trying to get money on this, but still as long as he isn't too wacky, the more PR about the Birth Certificate issue, the better. I still run into people who have no clue there is an issue!!! Amazing how ignorant our populus is. :-(

I’d like to see his college transcript to see if he flunked Econ 101.

If it’s like judicial watch, they will take in donations while not accomplishing much and distracting resources from those who might actually be able to get something done.

An issue that would quickly be resolved (one way or another) by producing your BC, Obama. Your college records would be nice too.

WHO PUT HIM THERE and WHY?

Funny you should bring this up. For years I would hear or read about conspiracy theories involving the Bilderberg Group and other groups and how they actually chose the President. I always dismissed them as hogwash.

Since 0dumbo's appearance on the scene, I'm not so sure. It certainly wasn't because he was qualified - he's already proven that!

He CAN’T produce his COLB . . . it would show he’s not only an alien, but an illegal alien who still does not even have a Selective Service Number (as all 18-25 year olds are supposed to have).

What I am appalled at is the T-O-T-A-L silence on the part of the following:
1) Rush
2) Hannity
3) Levin
4) Coulter
5) Malkin
6) Fox-News
7) Glen Beck
8) Supreme Court

Not even a peep . . . makes no sense . . . why the blackout with the above conservatives? Not a word. Do they know something we don’t, or do they think they’d REALLY lose their credibility if they brought it up? They’ve brought up everything else about this jacka$$, so why not this?

I don’t get it.

Or if he took any Econ at all!
Or see if he got grant or scholarship money as a “foreign student”!

Probably fear that a quick executive order would get them all off the air.

Ditto. They don’t have to say that they believe Obama is a foreigner. All they have to do is report on the controversy, the endless lawsuits, the questions, and the very basic fact that Obama refuses to produce any of these very basic records.

What is he hiding?

Hey,
Rush did joke about Obama’s trip to Hawaii.

When we have more proof, something new, they will run with it.

Rush does not investigate, Rush puts OUR investigations into the public discussion, once we finds something.

Oh yes, The Unseen Hand, The Illuminati,..all the way back to the pyramids. Say it’s all true, the conspiracy of the ages, and finally, before our very eyes, and in our own times!!! Victory at last===Barack Hussein Obama?
It’ll take that entire stimulus package just to cover the cost of grief counselors for the Bilderbergers.
Honestly, I keep asking, is Barack the best the left could produce?

Exactly. Self-styled “Internet powerhouse Andy Martin” (whom no one’s ever heard of, and who, back in December or thereabouts, was touting a hugh-n-series breaking birth-certificate story from Hawaii that somehow never materialized) is simply Larry Klayman writ smaller. Very much smaller. If that’s possible.

There’s also a radio ad I’m hearing on talk radio locally where a man is running an “impeach Obama” ‘campaign’ to sell t-shirts, etc. He doesn’t give any justification in his appeal for cash, just talk of t-shirts, etc. And it is an ad that plays in rotation.

It doesn’t help conservativism (if he isn’t going to present his case) and it looks like an obvious commercial ploy just to make $$$ off thousands of Republicans nationwide.

Who made his autobiography a hit when he was just a state senator and how did a publisher agree to even publish two autobiographies for a man with no accomplishments (the books along with campaigning as his ‘accomplishments in 2008).

I firmly believe that with the money, influence and power at his disposal, he has had a "bullet-proof" forgery of a birth certificate put in place, should it come to that. One that could not be definitely proven to be a fake.

The real find may be if he attended college as a "foreign student". This would amount to fraud, since he claims to be a Natural Born citizen, or indicator that he has committed perjury and and has been party to forgery in claiming to be natural born.

There has been some talk that his birth certificate would provide undue embarassment.

His mother was “married” to a man who was already married. Her marriage was null and void. What is the name on the birth certificate?

Well everyone by now should be aware that his mother's morals were somewhat lower than the average alley cat, and if that makes him a b_stard, well we know that too.

The reluctance comes from a practical assessment of the likelihood of victory. There is virtually zero probability that the court will issue an order compelling the release of the underlying birth certificate. Ultimately, the judiciary and talk radio will not go near the issue because both institutions regard it to be radioactive. The courts are acutely aware that they have virtually no physical force at their disposal against the executive. Stalin once famously asked, "how many divisions does the Pope have?" The court is acutely aware that does not have any divisions whatsoever. More than once in American history the executive has simply declined to enforce a court order. The incidence of President Jackson declining to adhere to the court order prohibiting the forced migration of Indians along the trail of tears comes to mind. Eisenhower, on the other hand, chose to enforce court orders integrating southern schools.

The justices are perfectly aware that they could trigger a constitutional crisis which they might not be able to contain because it will rapidly become political crisis. They are acutely aware that they are unelected and would be setting themselves up against a man who is nationally elected, indeed, he is the only officeholder who is nationally elected apart from Vice President. The Supreme Court knows that it retains its power only so long as the other two branches of government concede that power.

The court is aware that there are legitimate arguments that the matter should be solved in the political, not the legal, arena. It could have been solved by the primary process. It could have been solved by secretaries of the various states. It could have been solved by the national party convention. He could have been solved by the House of Representatives. The Supreme Court is perfectly entitled to say that this is a question designed by the founders not to be solved in court but by the political process. The courts have traditionally declined to adjudicate "political" questions.

Talk radio knows full well that the justices will not risk the future of the court and the future of the country on this issue so they know that there is no upside for them in beating this drum.

All this being said, I feel compelled nevertheless to say that there is a moral duty in the Supreme Court to take this case and stop dodging on the issue of standing. As I once posted, the President United States sends our sons and daughters to die in battle and takes our money at the threat of violence as taxes. Every American under the circumstances has "standing" to litigate his constitutional right not to be sent to die by a mountebank. If the court decides that it is a political matter let it say so and let it articulate its position for the world to judge.

Seems to me that the court has a different duty looking forward. Although the courts certainly will not issue advisory rulings, the court could very well take this case up now, decline to rule because it is a political question, but outline, albeit by dicta, a roadmap of the constitutional requirements for meeting the standard of "natural born citizen." With this Supreme Court ruling in place, Obama could not successfully run again without producing the birth certificate.

Similarly, talk radio has a duty to avoid hypocrisy. If they want to wave the flag and thump the Constitution, they have a duty to address the issue and inform their listeners that that which is being paraded by the drive-by media to be a birth certificate is in fact not a birth certificate. The document evidently does not purport to be a birth certificate but a "certificate of live birth" which purports only to record the fact and time of birth but not necessarily the place of birth.

When this whole controversy could be settled in Obama's favor merely by the production of the underlying birth certificate which is fully in his power to accomplish, we have now gotten past the point where only conservative wing nuts have jurisdiction over this issue. It is time for talk radio to tell the drive-by media that a certificate of live birth is not a birth certificate and the difference matters.

Is time for talk radio to tell the world that commonsense is now all on the side of the conservative cause.
