So every non Colorado freeper here, with a college bound child, would have to pay MORE than an illegal alien to send their kid to school out there?

What a joke.

Actually, not a bad idea. Considering the cost of college, even public schools, is the biggest rip off in American, why should illegals get ripped off any more than citizens. (I'm being sarcastic for all you knee jerks)

We are like the kid walking around in school with the note taped on his back saying kick me I like it. The message is clear but they still don’t hear us.

Amnesty for illegal immigrants will also help to turn the entire country into a third world socialistic “hellhole”. The irony is that amnesty for illegal immigrants will successfully make the entire U.S. behave similar to many of the countries of origin of such illegals!

“Ritter is a lunatic. He sure loves illegal aliens more than us.”

He sure is. During his tenure as Attorney General he allowed illegal aliens, who had been charged with serious felonies, to get off on a plea deal.

The illegal aliens walked after pleading to Agricultural Trespass!

Lunacy indeed!!

I remember the slogan from the early 70’s:

“Don’t Californicate Colorado”

Looks like it happened.

I want to know the procedure on how to become an illegal whatever.

Nothing is free for natural born citizens. We're being discriminated against.

I hate to be a Paul Revere of sorts, but a Civil War is brewing between us Conservatives, Freepers...

We will have to fight the Commies, Muslims and Hispanic Gang members...

I am not being alarmist, I am being a realist.

cool - so if our kids want to go to school in Colorado (do not see this as a possibility, just for conversation), all they have to do is be unable to produce any documentation and they too will get in-state tuition?

So what idiot would ever pay Colorado out of state tuition again?

OK, I am an American citizen, pay my taxes that go to support colleges and Universities in Colorado and if I send my kids to school I pay a LOT of out of state tuition. If I come up from Mexico and land in Colorado I pay instate tuition. Why the hell am I such a sucker. Maybe I should pay no taxes, move to Mexico, become a Mexican citizen then seek back into the US and get more benefits than I do as a tax paying citizen!

This is a great idea, because I don’t think that they can investigate it, because if they can PROVE that you are here legally (requiring investigation), that would definitely be discrimination based on your color/race/etc., unless they go to the trouble of proving that people are here ILLEGALLY, which would then open a very large can of worms.

Ritter the “moderate” strikes again.

When he was DA, he helped keep Denver a sanctuary city.

It would be nice if the Colorado GOP could run a decent candidate against him, but I don’t see it happening. The GOP leadership here is ineffective and can’t seem to find decent candidates to run at any level of government.

You don’t want to send your kids to CU. It is full of liberal professors and drunk students.

Here in Nevada there are bumper stickers that say, “Don’t much care how you did it in California”. LOL

So, can we as citizens of Colorado sue the Governor for being an accessory to an illegal act: being in this country illegally?

That’s problem...Mexico won’t let you immigrate. There are too many restrictions. It is harder to move to Mexico, than it is to live in the US!

I always wanted to go to Denver and see what it’s like... I think I can do without that now.

I lived in SW Colorado for many years...the WESTERN SLOPE....I never considered Denver...the EASTERN SLOPE... part of Colorado. Major cities in all of the states are always "liberal".

During his tenure as Attorney General

You're confused. Ritter was Denver District Attorney. Salazar was State Attorney General.
