Sorry, but couldn't support Patraeus for President. History shows that lifelong military men have been sub-par presidents. Zachary Taylor, U.S. Grant, Eisenhower, etc. all weren't very good.

To lead our country you couldn’t support a general who has led men in war but you could support a guy who has delivered babies. Strange.

I don’t think that Ike was a bad president. Made a couple of poor Supreme Court choices and a bad VP choice, but was generally a solid conservative.
