""In order to solve an issue as complex as HIV and AIDS, you have to step up," he said"

There is nothing the government or anyone can do to stop the spread of HIV. The only ones in control of it are those who have gay sex. HIV has been around for a long time now, WE ALL know the dangers of gay sex, but yet, they're out there, still having it, unprotected.

Actually, you need to add drug use to that, and then you are exactly right.

Whenever people start talking about not covering obese people because that is a "lifestyle" disease; i.e., people choose to behave in a way that makes them obese, I get angry. It is politically incorrect to be fat, but gay is the highest rung of the P.C. ladder so these people get a pass on their behavior.

Well, are these people also willing to stop providing health care to AIDs patients, 'cause those "drug cocktails" that they have to take to keep them alive are very expensive and they "choose" to participate in activities (gay sex or drug use) that open them up to this disease.
