Anyone on or off the Palin ping, write me.
I watched Gov Palin at the convention. Increedible potential. This is sad.
What on earth are you talking about? I see nothing sad here.
I can feel a "troll alert" creeping into my finger tips.....
sad person likes Sandy of S.C. a clone of L Ron Paul
Super, why’s that?
What’s sad? Keynoting an NRCC dinner is a pretty big deal. I mean, granted its not the RNC on nat’l television, but it’s a pretty important gig. She would have also had a big speech at CPAC but couldn’t go for some reason. If she did, the Rush speech probably would have been less of a big deal. I think she’s still the top elected GOP “leader” in terms of getting attention and making news.
She’s kept fairly quiet and hasn’t really said anything but if she were to make issue X a priority or come out and say give a big speech on economic policy or whatever, that would get way more play than any other Republican.
I saw where Obama will be on Leno next week. If Letterman were to announce that she’d be on his show the same night, I think Letterman would actually beat Jay in the ratings for the first time since ironically he had McCain on back in October.
If she has a sense of humor, she can figure out a way to interrupt the Tonight Show feed next week and just as Obama is about to start talking she could cut in and say “Mr Obama will not be speaking with you tonight...”
It’s not like she’s sunk so low that she’s showing up at some pot luck somewhere.
Or did you mean sad in the sense that it’s sad she’s not the VP now and thus Obama wouldn’t be the President? In that case I agree with you.
You mean ZERO’S Thingy? Has Larry Sinclair confirmed your statement?
Well....I fail to see how the statement that Palin addressing the GOP is "sad".
Such little hand grenades thrown into Freeper discussions are usually the work of Kos trolls.
Maybe I have misunderstood your meaning. When you are old, like me, it is sometimes hard to figure things out.
So explain the remark...
“You mean ZEROS Thingy? Has Larry Sinclair confirmed your statement?”
Or Barney Frank maybe half the Rat house and MSM seem confused what a Man is.
Update: Palin has been invited, but not decided yet whether to keynote the fundraiser. Let’s hope she does. :o)
The ADN reports:
Update from Sean Cockerham in Juneau —
I just got a call from Gov. Sarah Palin’s spokesman, Bill McAllister, who said these national Republican groups jumped the gun in announcing Palin would be there.
“The governor has not confirmed,” McAllister said.
McAllister said he has no idea why the National Republican Senatorial Committee and National Republican Congressional Committee announced Palin as the keynote speaker. “I don’t know, I’m kind of stunned...She’s been invited but that’s as far as it’s gone from our end, is my understanding,” McAllister said.
I think you misspelled your screen name... should be vinyl = plastic/fake/trollish.
Indication that it’s CONFIRMED!
“NRSC spokesman Brian Walsh said Monday night that the staff of the governor’s national political action committee, SarahPAC, had confirmed Palin would indeed speak at the Senate-House dinner.
“The committees have confirmed this with the governor’s political staff at SarahPAC, not her official staff in Juneau, so it’s understandable why there may be a miscommunication here,” Walsh said.
SarahPAC spokeswoman Meg Stapleton could not be reached for comment Monday night.”
