And sadly, you're right about NASA. I'm still in awe that some lefties I know who are serious "on to Mars" types still refuse to acknowledge the snob's statements about NASA's future. I watched the launch last night and for the first time since I was a child, got choked up about spaceflight, but for completely opposite reasons.

I have no idea. My dad is a retired disabled person who gets his medicine through the VA and he doesn’t have private insurance either.
Keep in mind also, if you work with a Vet, and he is billed an extremely high bill from a war injury, YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE GOES UP.
If you ask me, that is the goal here to push socialized medicine.
Can you send me some sources on how he plans on destroying NASA? I remember reading about him cutting some programs, but I have a goony liberal friend (and yes, I have way too many of them. I run in the wrong circles I guess but I end up doing more converting of them then they do of me) who is an astronomer and is convinced that Obama is the “Science President” because McCain didn’t like the observatory Obama gave some Chicago place that ended up campaigning for him. He couldn’t see Obama was buying votes and couldn’t care two wits about science.

Obama said he would not weaponize space, for one. Two, he put on hold ares/orion which is the follow on to the shuttle. he gave $1B to NASA in the stimulus (I think it was) but he gave $5B to ACORN; that sure tells ME he doesn’t think much of NASA.

As a veteran myself, I have been constantly amazed by the many, many veterans who vote for the Democrats even though their policies have been detrimental to the nation’s best interests. I know many who voted for Obama. We are a free people and can vote for whomever we please but, like you, I find it incredible that so many bought into Obama’s Marxism, hook, line and sinker.
My dad called me and played a piece from the Rachel Maddow show (I know, he’s a hopeless lib) and even she was like WTF? What is he doing? Apparently (according a spokesman for a VA group) this is going to be DOA in Congress because dems and republicans are not going to pass this.

Many veterans like myself are already doing this....thankfully I do have other insurance. In December I went to the VA clinic to see to get a consult to see a Neurosurgeon or OrthoSpine Surgeon for my service connected disability. Since my appointment in December I have continued to wait for an appointment with a VA specialist, have had an appointment with a private practice specialist, have had all the tests (MRI, CAT Scan, EMG, X-Rays, etc.), have had major surgery on my spine, and if my appointment with the private surgeon is positive next week, I’ll be back to work after being off for 6 weeks.
If the psuedo representatives in Washington gave 2 shiatskis about the vet they would have some accountability in the Veterans Administration....because certainly there is accountability when some poor enlisted guy shoots a terrorist and he’s charged with murder!
And these kooks in D.C. want the government to run healthcare.
One more nail for America’s coffin and the jerk has a fully loaded nail gun.

I got the logo and inserted right there. Now some may not be surprised that I don’t regard him highly. Couched it with humor in the beginning, but let me say I find nothing funny about it. It’s how I am choosing to make my point.
I would love to see a nationwide ride to washington/protest.
Start in the Western states and come across I-10, I-20, I-40, I-70, I-80 and I-90 picking up groups along the way with the entire caravan converging on Washington at the same time from all directions.
This is WAY beyond lack of love. This is lack of respect and worse.
That this narcissist could not find a moment to visit the injured in Germany was telling.
But why didn’t everyone know it then? Now it’s no surprise to some of us.
It is however a shock how far he’s willing to go.

If you have Tricare Prime (I signed up for it when I retired.) It is NOT private insurance despite you having to pay premiums for it.
VA will not ACCEPT Tricare as a health insurance
