It feels more like three centuries, not three months since these folks inhabited the White House (or do we call it the Black House now?).
I don't think it's extraordinary at all. Most Americans don't serve, don't have a family member who serves, and don't give more than lip service to those who do. Suggesting that people do more to show their appreciation to the families that do is one of the few things Mrs. Obama has said that I can agree with.
Every insurance policy form for reimbursement that I ever saw asked if the injury or illness being treated was work related.
Private insurance will not pay for the treatment of work related injuries or illnesses. They expect workman's compensation or the VA to pick up those bills and their rates to their clientel are based on that.
If a doctor or patient fails to disclose that an injury is work related they are committing fraud which invalidates the whole policy, and gets the doctor into a great deal of hot water.
President Obama sounds incredibly stupid and naive to me when he blithely assumes he can rack in over 500 million dollars from private insurance companies picking up his tab for treating our vets with dignity.
I have heard that what happened in the desert on the aborted rescue attempt of our hostages in Iran was not an accident but that the Russians had been tipped off and came out and blew up some of our helicopters.
Jimmah covered it up and lied about what happened because he didn’t want
1. to go to war with Russia
2. to admit that his administration was riddled with commie leakers.
The account I read written by a Delta Force member was that the Navy insisted on having its own mechanics tend to the Delta Force helicopters while they were on ship en route, and that Delta Force learned a hard lesson that only their own mechanics should tend to their equipment.
