I am guessing TMZ is correct. They talked to the hospital, and are sticking with “brain swelling”.

All of the sources fr her “brain dead” story cite un-named family members.

Almost wonder if she had an aneurysm or stroke coming on before she even fell. The tsory said she didnt hit a tree or anything. It would take an awfully hard hit on the head to cause diffuse axonal injury (DAI), but it is an invisible injury that kills

I hope; given the tragic outcome here, that there was nothing that could have changed this. . .like an earlier decision to be checked out.

UPDATE 2:00 PM ET -- The hospital tells TMZ Richardson is sedated and suffering from brain swelling -- but, contrary to some reports, is not brain dead. UPDATE: 1:37 PM ET -- We're told Richardson's jet was scheduled to take off from Montreal-Trudeau Airport. A rep for the airport said the jet is either still there or has just taken off.

We're told Natasha Richardson has been transported from the hospital in Canada via ambulance. CTV says she boarded a private jet -- we do not know where the jet has gone, but we believe it's New York City.

Richardson was accompanied by a medic team for the flight.

She was also in the remake of “The Parent Trap” opposite Lindsay Lohan (before the Fall) and Dennis Quaid.

Thanks. . .perhaps ‘some’ of the confusion lies between the two hospitals in Canada she already visited and numberous and various reportings that have come with this and entire scenario. Don’t know; but seems traveling in a ‘jet’ would not be great with a swollen brain. Guess we will have to wait to see what unfolds here; per more confusing details. . .whatever; can only hope for the best; whatever that may be. . .
