Who is RDS?
Shell imports crude oil from Libya, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Australia, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Columbia, Ecuador, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad, Venezuela, Oman, Angola, Iraq, South Africa and UAE.
But what you should understand is regardless of who imports it or refines it, essential all gasoline is mixed. Importers sell to multiple refinery companies, Refineries sell to multiple distributors, distributors sell to multiple local retailers.
The local Shell gasoline station could likely be selling gasoline made in a Citgo refinery imported by ExxonMobil from Saudi Aramco.
Thanks for the informative response, thackney !
