The commander of the Alabama Bureau of Investigation office in Dothan, Ala., told CNSNews.com that neither he nor his agents called for U.S. troops to come to the scene of murders in Samson, Ala., on the night of March 10 -- but he was very glad they came.

"I don't know who called them," Lt. Barry Tucker told CNSNews.com. “I didn't. I didn't have time to call anybody."

Very troubling . . . why the cover up? Troops don’t move on their own, someone knows who ordered them out.

Could this be a set-up? Another way to turn Americans against their military? Hmmmm.

Mystery solved: Police Chief Ordered Troops

"Under the authority of a mutual aid agreement which Fort Rucker has with local law enforcement community in Samson, Alabama, the Samson city police chief requested support from military police after the shooting," Lt. Col. Almarah Belk, an Air Force officer working for the Department of Defense press office, told WND in a telephone interview.

Thanks for the info gieriscm. I wonder how how long this “mutual aid agreement” has been in place and if such agreements are common nationwide.

All installations are required by federal regulation to have mutual aid agreements with the communities and counties that border the installation.

Probably a non-story. I can remember back in the 60’s when my home town of DeFuniak Springs had some businesses in the downtown area catch fire.

Now normally the Air Force doesn’t mess around with civilian fires but this one was threatening to burn the entire town down so they called Eglin and asked for help. The Air Force came and put it out almost immediately.

No, they are not helpful If I were a citizen being ‘policed’ by our military would seem aweful. And if no one ‘called them’..that means we have sinister forces at work (maybe) behind the scenes here (cure conspiracy NWO types..).

The MPs from Ft Bragg walked with Fayetteville Police on Hay Street in the 70s.

They were much better at busting heads with their night sticks than the City Cops - must have been all the practice they got up at the Dragon Club AKA The Corn Palace.

Ft Bragg Bomb Disposal unit responds to bomb threats in the local area.

Thanks Arkansas Tider. Of course this begs the question of why the commander of the Alabama Bureau of Investigation office in Dothan wasn’t aware of the mutual aid agreement. This whole thing would have been a non-issue from the get-go if his responses hadn’t reeked of cover-up.

From the Dothan Eagle in Dothan, AL.

This appears to be a local article about the subject:

http://www.dothaneagle.com/dea/news/local/article/army_questions_use_of_soldiers_samson_offers_thanks/64309/

“Army questions use of soldiers, Samson offers thanks”

By Ebony Horton

Had the local police enlisted volunteers that were non-military I do not think this would be an issue at all. My immediate thought was it came from DC, but looks like that it was strictly a local “react to a crisis” action.

This is a fairly old article form March 18, but I have not seen it picked up in detail by the AP (Always Propaganda).
