I’m willing to hear what they say. But it better be reeeaaaalllll good for me to stomach that vote.
Honestly, I can’t think of a reason that would explain that vote. I just can’t. I’m awaiting a letter from Cantor trying to explain it. I probably won’t hear for a few weeks, tho.
8th and Canal
Are you going to the tea party?
I’ll be there. Maybe we should have an FR meeting spot?
Nope, I’m not willing to wait for an “explanation.”
This, combined with his original stimulus vote, combined with all the sheer stupidity that is going on over Jeff Frederick (from BOTH camps) and I’m done.
Finished.
Yes, I’ll be there if I don’t have to work. I’ll freepmail you my contact info.
Time for a new tagline...
TATBO
“Limbaugh opined along the lines that they did it so now the CEOs wouldn’t think to come back again and ask for more money.”
A good chunk are just plain RINOs. The vast majority (all but a few) belonging to McCain’s “Main Street Republican” group voted for the tax and also for the GIVE act.
My rep. is Wolf and he’s been voting yes on all kinds of crap.... SCHIP, bailouts, GIVE, etc. I’m just plain done with the guy.
Yes he has! I JUST received a call to be a delegate for the state convention. I simply must get back to VA! The state I'm in is already lost. ;*(
What a pant load! This is exactly why they keep losing ala John MeInsane.
If all those complaining about the new republican party would simply join AIP they would be relegated to the fate of the Whigs and we could get on with saving the country.
I for one appreciate it and thank them for it. It is way past time for niceties to end!
Indeed.
John McCain almost broke his habit but it was exactly because he could not that he lost the election. If he would’ve fought against Bush and the bailout he could have won it. He wants to be loved too bad to lead. So many Republicans want to be loved by the snickering classes. It is irrational, as irrational as a spurned lover chasing the one who spurns them. Also most of the so called “moderates” are merely the politically unengaged, they just need to be pushed in the right direction and given a good argument and they will follow you. If I had 10 million dollars to spend on a campaign I could drive a wedge the size of NY state between minorities and Democrats but our Republican leadership are not willing to do what it is they need to not only improve their brand but also destroy the Democrat party. If they will not fight for what they believe they do not deserve to lead. Democrats though wrong fight like dogs for what they believe and that more than anything is why they are in power now not because people agree with them.
