A federal judge on Monday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to make the Plan B morning-after birth control pill available without prescription to women as young as 17. The judge ruled the agency had improperly bowed to political pressure from the Bush Administration when it set 18 as the age limit in 2006. The F.D.A. has 30 days to comply with the order, in which the judge also urged the agency to consider removing all restrictions on over-the-counter sales of Plan B. The drug consists of two pills that prevent conception if taken within 72 hours of sexual intercourse. Some women’s health advocates hailed the decision. “It is a complete vindication of the argument that reproductive rights advocates have been making for years, that in the Bush administration it was politics, not science, driving decisions around women’s health,” said Nancy Northup, president of the Center for Reproductive Rights, a non-profit group that was one of the plaintiffs in the case against the F.D.A.

Why doesn't he just finish the job, and mandate that the government has to provide it for free to every girl with their school lunch, beginning at age 9.
And mandate that private schools, including Christian ones, have to do that, too, or be forcibly shutdown by National Guard troops, or burned to the ground a la Waco.
I'm sure that's required by the Constitution, somewhere /s.

They are not crazy, they are just simply evil. Abortion is the one super right as granted by the judges. They don’t even have to tell their parents, They can kill and no legal consequences will follow no matter what they do.
The Abortionists are totally above the law. They can hide serious crimes with impunity. They can kill a living baby and get away with it.
Our country has already gone past the point of no return. I doubt the U.S. can be saved, but then again all things are possible through Christ.

Who is going to stop the next out of control judge from saying 16 or 15 years old?

It doesn't "prevent conception." It blocks implantation, thereby killing a tiny child, an already conceived person, at their earliest stages of development.
Morally no different than locking your three year-old in a closet until they die.
Does regular birth control require a prescription?
