State, then Treasury.

Yeah, the typos are much worse then the point and content.
Give us a staff and maybe improvement will follow.
Actually he wasn’t as there was no hospital on the military base, so his natural born status is also in question; at any rate, this has been discussed many times on these threads. But he definitely was NOT born on a US military base.
But John McCain WAS born to two U.S. citizens, and as such, under U.S. law, was a citizen at birth.
A citizen at birth is a “natural born” citizen; as opposed to a “naturalized” citizen that had to go through a legal process for citizenship.
That’s the claim that you’re making, and your arguments are not very compelling if being called “stupid” is your main one.
There are natural born citizens and naturalized citizens. There is no other category under the law.
As long as birthers are just making things up why not claim that “natural born” means born to two U.S. citizens on U.S. soil who were also both born on U.S. soil?
I mean as long as you would rather make things up than look at the law, the sky is the limit!
We’re talking about when Henry Kissinger was at State. Had something happened to everyone in the line of presidential succession above him, he would have been bypassed in favor of the Treasury secretary.

No it is not. Being born on a U.S. soil means that the person is automatically a citizen per the 14th Amendment. But if a Panamanian national gave birth in the Canal zone or a German national gives birth on a U.S. base in Germany then in neither case is the baby a U.S. citizen of any kind.
Children born on U.S. bases abroad are considered natural born citizens because their parent or parents are U.S. citizens. However, that is in part what this whole arguement is about. By the strict definition of natural born citizen promoted by D'Onofrio and the author of this article, McCain is not a natural born U.S. citizen.

I'd agree. But that may not be what he really wants to talk about. Scroll down.
Likewise, you could have been born a hermaphrodite, having the characteristics of both male and female. You could legally adopt the gender that you presented yourself. You could undergo surgery, modify your physical structure, and adopt the gender of your preference. You could live out the rest of your days and no one would question your gender from that point forward. But the unfortunate fact would be that you were naturally born ambiguously gendered, not naturally born male or naturally born female. This is not necessarily a bad, thing. It just is what it is a fact.
Barack Obama is the equivalent of a hermaphrodite citizen.
Quite a digression. All that citizenship stuff just to find an excuse to use the word "hermaphrodite."
Excellent photo ... gonna have to use that elsewhere ...
