NY Post
http://www.nypost.com/seven/03252009/news/regionalnews/brooklyn/teen_held_in_weber_slay_161247.htm

Apparently there’s a YouTube vid also where the murderer crank calls a poss. pedophile.

from article:

>>Weber and Katehis agreed to meet Friday night for a sexual encounter after the newsman had promised him $60.
Weber had orginally placed an ad on Craigslist looking for someone to choke him and engage in oral sex.
Police sources told The Post that Weber’s legs were duct-taped and that he pulled out a knife to free himself - not attack Katehis.

>>Katehis told cops that he and Weber drank Vodka and did cocaine before the situation turned violent.
He told police that Weber pulled a knife on him, he took it and stabbed the former radio newscaster.
Meanwhile, new details of the chilling crime were revealed.
According to investigators, the knife sliced through Weber’s neck, back and torso so many times that it was difficult to get an accurate count by the time the body was discovered two days ago.

My own speculation is the “youth” had been molested at an early age and took this opportunity to go postal on an available target.

So our intrepid radio reporter:

Solicited a teenager for sex
Solicited the teen for prostitution
Contributed to the delinquency of said minor by providing alcohol and cocaine.

Sorry, my sympathy well for the reporter/ pervert is dry for some strange reason....

What in the world possesses someone with a good income and a reputation to protect, to meet an anonymous, underage boy and let him... is the thrill so high, that the person loses all his judgment?

I guess I'd rather not know.
