“Such threats are terrorism.”

No, threats are not terrorism. For that matter, terrorism rarely involves a warning.

If someone “threatens” to beat the crap out of you, just try to use that as a defense in taking him out first. You have to have to have reason to believe that the action is imminent, and that the person has he intent and the ability to carry it out.

“The local NBC station is surprised by this? I did not watch their news over the weekend but I did see the ABC and Fox affiliates’ news and they were helping whip up the frenzy, if you ask me. They dutifully reported on the protests from angry citizens as if this was just a spontaneous outpouring of anger from taxpayers and unemployed people. No mention was made of the professional left wing agitators involved. The ACORN sign was even clearly seen on camera.”

This is just a warm up we have to watch these Stalinists and learn the Script.

If anything happens to these people I hope whoever takes on their case goes after the likes of Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi. Their words have provoked this.

Thanks for the ping — I have now read the article and every post. I don’t like this semi-sanctioned lynch mob concept that has developed, particularly as ACORN stands to get squillions of dollars stimulus money. I can only hope that your tax dollars didn’t pay for these lowlifes to threated the AIG executives.

All of that said, it seems like Law Enforcement is looking into this — it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Here in NZ, “Uttering a Threat” can get a perp 7 years in gaol — and our gaols aren’t very nice places at all. No doubt you have similar laws in the US.

Sovereign immunity. Nobody in Congress can be charged with or prosecuted for a crime while in office. The only place or method for keeping elected officials in check was the Fourth Estate (the media). The Democrats figured this out and bought the media to keep them in power and the Republicans out of power. Basically, unless we clean house with fresh new parties, we are screwed. Our lifestyles have crumbled and the next 20 to 30 years will make the 1970s look prosperous. Nothing short of a Congressional cleansing will turn this mess around.

Remember, the poor don't like wealthy or middle class people. They want them to be equally as poor so society is "fair." Life ain't looking too prosperous at the moment and these "conspicuously rich" are in for some rough times. Good luck selling those McMansions!

As the economy continues to collapse and unemployment rises, these class bashes will increase. Conspicuous consumption will garner you a fearful life. Flashing wealth right now is not safe.

Thank you for taking the time to read this through.

As many here have pointed out, so much is happening so very fast you can’t keep your eye on the ball under the cup.

As conservatives in America we need to check our emotions at the door and honor our core principals. A contract is a contract. Congress issued a piece of legislation honoring those contracts. Like it or not our word has to mean something. Making sure it doesn’t happen going forward, absolutely. Making these people out to be criminals? Not so much.

I have zero sympathy for AIG employees, sorry thats the way I feel, we the taxpayers and our children will be paying for this rip off for the rest of our lives. We have had our wealth stolen, and it went to these bums that ran that company into the ground. same goes for any politican scum that voted for the bailout. Hard labour for life, for them and their rotten children. look what they have ruined!

It would help of course; if the details of their ‘rants’ were not exposed for public ‘feed’.

honor a contract????, how about the Constituion, and the Bill of Rights. That trumps any other contract. if the two afore mentioned “contracts” had been adhered to by congress, and the so called president, AIG would have gone bakrupt, and we all know what happends to contracts at a bankrupt company, they become voided.
that is legally what should have happened, that would have legally voided these so called contracts.

but know the politicnas, greased with bribes from AIG, broke the contract they have with all Americans, broke the Oath they swore when they took office.

the right thing to do is to try to take back all the bailout money we can, (as it was illegal use of tax money, the breaking of our contract with government) and let AIG go bankrupt. let lawsuits proceed aginst the AIG bosses by any investors that were lied to, and let AIG bosses AND politicans go to jail for bribbery, and finally tar and feathers for the crooked politicans.

You have to have to have reason to believe that the action is imminent, and that the person has he intent and the ability to carry it out.

I would personally have to show proof of such intent in order to claim I acted in self-defense. But I'm talking about the law prosecuting these nutjobs. Two different things.

Haven’t you heard, we are no longer using the term “terrorist”. It’s man-caused disaster.

F**king ACORN thugs. They’ll only grow in strength with their leader in the WH.
____________
I have a feeling if the SHTF, it will start with ACORN. as they grow bolder. Now they have billions of our hard earned tax dollars thanks to the recipient of their bought and paid for election, obozo. They're going to mess with the wrong person or group, it will get heated, next thing you know the flash point is reached.
They try to scare AIG. I think ACORN should be more afraid. Those low life ghetto thugs going against big banks, CEO’s. Some of them are mob. ACORN may find them in a fight they wished they hadn't started. Or is that what zer0 hopes will happen?

Woulda’, shoulda’, coulda’ but didn’t happen. I do not disagree with the bailouts should have never happened.

But...that is not where we are today. Congress wrote those contracts into the legislation. Bribes, greased, corrupt...nice charges, but they need to be proven. Otherwise we’re on the hook like it or not.

How can we get out of this situation? Turn them over to the appropriate courts. Will that happen? No, I don’t think so. The crisis is too valuable to waste. The courts could still administrate the companies, demand accountablity, etc. Yet...Congress won’t let that happen.

These AIG folks have amounted to “useful idiots” in the propaganda class warfare.
