I’m posting this everywhere where I can.

It’s 4:04 in the morning and I could not sleep all night thinking about what the liberals are going to try to do to our country next week. Why are we not having a million + tea party Sunday? Have we given up and assumed we cannot stop this? I know most think we can’t, but what if every person in this country who is upset with this did something NOW before its too late. Having these parties next month is nice, but what good will they do? Pelosi/Obama couldn’t care less if all there work is already done. We conservatives are hard workers but bad planners. Yes, we will irate many people on April 15th, but to what end?
Am I alone in my thinking? I don’t want this thing to pass.
We will be living it shortly. Isn’t there something we could do? Phone calls all day Monday-millions. I’m just sick and scared.... Have you seen some of the things coming out and the power, big power grab by obama. He’s trying to control everything from the white house so he can become dictator. Someone help me out here.

In my world Sarah Palin is the USA president and Daniel Hannan is the Prime Minister of Britain.
Hannan finds it odd that we are paying so much attention to him. He better get over it. We love him. I admired and followed Tony Blair for years and now I see that England still has great sons.

If you listened to the WHOLE Hannity interview his reasons for favoring Obama in the election kind of gave me pause. His #1 cocnern was that Americans did NOT establish a Brit style health care system, unless you don’t value your life!! Mason Dixon

All politics is local.

Not long (maybe 20 years?) ago, there was a HUGE movement for term limits. It failed.

People were disgusted with their representatives, and thought the bums should be thrown out.

Oh, but they wanted SOMEONE ELSE'S bum thrown out. Their own local bum was sending money and jobs to their own district.

Americans have found they can vote money for themselves by getting the right scoundrel in office.

Large corporations have found they can get laws to favor them by financing campaigns that overwhelm uncooperative candidates with a green tide.

Billionaire individuals have found they can cooperate with scoundrels and fund media outlets to gain a cooperative weasel, manipulate laws and events and rake in profits, even while the economy tanks, by undermining confidence in the American economy.

The sad thing is -- there's no where else to go. Even as they dribble away, these last vestiges of America are better than what any other country has to offer, unless you want to go borderline anarchic in some fourth-world backwater.

The coming $4 gas will be very irritating, pile inflation and other taxes along with the regular household bills and a lot of Americans are going to become conservative fast, it’ll show in the next election, some just have to learn the hard way and the rest of us live frugally, buck up and hoard till there’s tax cuts for the rich(the silver bullet for economic growth)

We are looking rationed healthcare in the face.

The Obama administration will lower the Social Security cost
they will lower the cost of medicare, they will lower the population of nursing homes, HOW will they do it.

They will do it by lowering the life span of Americans .

They will do it by refusing to pay for dialysis, for costly High Blood Pressure medicines, by refusing expensive chemo -therapy.,refusing to pay for by-pass surgery if you are not up to snuff with their determination of worth.

Someone better wake up or they will be looking at their parents dying while health care is refused them. We all know someone who is receiving expensive treatment at the expense of medicare or health insurance. Look at this person as being condemned by the Government, and see how you like it.

Given what I’ve seen, which admittedly isn’t that much (I’ve been out of town), this guy isn’t a big government kind of guy. One thing that I do know is that he’s a young guy...37...so, he might not know anything else other than nationalized health care.

In the interviews I’ve seen, he’s addressed only the financial crisis, and how governments are handling it.

I would find it very interesting to see/read what he said about health care.

The European Parliament has to do with the European Union.

The British Parliament is just for the Brits.

The European Union is akin to the United States...however, they are a group of countries that have formed a not so perfect union.

There aren’t any borders, and that might explain why they are having such problems with “immigrants” over there.

I caught the last couple or three minutes of the Hannity segment with Hannan, and he seemed to be saying that their health care system is a horrible mistake.

Is there a disconnect here?

Yes. The European Union is set up much the same as the US is, except it’s a group of countries, instead of states.

IMO, initially they tried this arrangement hoping to rival the US, but have failed miserably.

Hannity had him on both his radio program and on TV later. In my opinion, the radio appearance was more in-depth.

Hannan said that if you take one thing away from this radio interview, it was NOT to nationalize health care. He repeated himself twice on this point. His warning on nationalization of health care did not come across as forcefully on TV.

Palin convention speech, Santelli rant and now Hannan smack down. Points up huge void in Republican leadership. People hungry, yearning for (begging for) leadership.

Who will step up?

This guy is cool but his support for Obama really bothers me. I wish Hannity would shut up once in a while and let his guests do more of the talking. I wanted to hear more of what he had to say.

I want to hear his guests' opinions too, not just him all of the time. Ann Coulter almost took Hannity's head off during the Great American Panel when he interrupted her. Hannity needs to grow up a bit. He's making conservatives look like fools with his silly antics. He's bright and accomplished, and... full of himself. Please, Hannity, polish the silver a bit...

You know the sad truth about all of this is that probably fewer than what is essentially a handful of Americans will ever hear or see sentiments like this expressed by ANYONE. How do we get the message outside the choir, in a big way? Even the Brit media was only lackluster in their coverage, if they covered it at all. Our domestic SRM? Fugitaboutit!

Hannan is a European socialist, but even they weren’t counting on the new world order’s being ushered in by a massive global depression to eliminate capitalism by destroying all wealth not in the hands of the PTB. That’s the dirty plot by George Soros, but he’s only the face of the cabal that’s engineering all this hell on earth. I wish someone would track them all down and prosecute them for crimes against Humanity, but many of the courts are on their side.

...Now I know that may seem to make a lot of sense to you, and it certainly does to me, but I am pretty sure Obama's  current 'economic advisors' would swiftly point out to us, that we are completely overlooking the 'economic stimulus' created by having to hire the TAILOR to sew the blanket back together... not to even MENTION all the 'stimulus' created by the government's hiring of the six new bureaucrats needed to SUPERVISE the job!!!

 

...So let's all go out TODAY and break a bunch of windows, shall we, so we can IMMEDIATELY get all those unemployed glaziers back to WORK!

Good points and well done! I think most of us would agree the "stimulus" is more about enlarging government at all levels than it is about stimulating the economy. Of course that would involve propping up private infrastructure as well, banking etc, so they will have something to "govern" and govern with. The sad part? The voices and forces set against this rape of the nation can barely be heard above the carnival barking from the Dims and the SRM.
