Dan Rather, is that you? Using forged evidence to tarnish conservatives did not work too well last time around did it? Some fools will never learn.

Never trust a candidate that supports killing the unborn because they almost always end up being RINOs in every sense of the world.

Time to send the old witch into retirement.

Okay Mr. refuse-to-believe-hard-evidence. I'm posting Myth's own words to the LogCabin Republicans and also the link to the source. Take off your Myth Messiah glasses and read this:

Myth Woos The Homos

Here's Myth's own words on his pro-abortion stance:

Please relay why you think these documents were forged and why no one from the Romney campaign has screamed and yelled far and wide about it.

In the mean time, as you accuse a fellow FReeper of lying and fabricating evidence, you're supporting a candidate whose supporters here on Free Republic frequently lie outright with false claims that Rush Limbaugh and Michael Reagan "endorsed" him, when there is ZERO, nada, zilch, null, big fat donut hole, evidence anywhere that they did. Desperate Romney supporters take weak and/or non-political praise by big names that was clearly never intended to be an "endorsement," and ... lie about it. Oh sure, they post carefully clipped and parsed quotes or transcripts entirely out of context to support their mistaken assumption that endorsement was intended, but a contextual reading of the parsed words proves wholly that neither M. Reagan nor Rush ever "endorsed" Romney in the honest, ethical sense of the word, and really not in any sense of the word at all! It's all wishful thinking on Romney supporters' side, and they turn those wishes in to LIES.

And you expect me to think it's any different with your accusation of forgeries?

So I guess the items I've linked to noting Romney's outreach to the gay community, including endorsing a "Gay Youth Pride" parade at a junior high school, for pity's sake, were all ... mean fabricated forgeries??

And after all these years, no Romney official has known about it, let alone attemped to set the record straight, shout to the world that these are forgeries, and come out aggressively hunting down those who would sink to such lows?

Romney is that wimpy at defending his honor? Give me a break. I think that the more likely reality is that there weren't any forgeries -- the items are genuine.

When you are done looking at the hard evidence that Myth is a flaming liberal, look at FR founder's own words on the subject here at post 65:

Groupthink runs deep with a certain cabal on this site, i had no idea.

There you go again. A Romney supporter insulting fellow FReepers wholesale. First you accuse them indirectly of religious bigotry, and now you accuse them directly of being a "cabal" engaging in "groupthink." I must say, however, that you haven't resorted to using the word "hate" to discount the validity of our arguments against your hero Romney.

But I bet it's only a matter of time.

I used to think Romney had potential. I was just like you -- until I started reading Romney's own words and reviewing his actual record. You apparently have chosen to squeeze your eyes shut to any evidence that may taint your Hero, and in defense of said Hero, you choose words intending to insult the honor, intelligence, and ethics of fellow Republicans while you're at it. Don't look now, but you're the very model of "groupthink." And you don't even know it, you poor sap.

AGAIN -- the behavior of Romney supporters speaks volumes about their candidate.

Well i respectfully disagree and I dont think we should be acively campaigning against our own politicians, thats what the Dems want us to do! we need UNITY. i will never turn my back on any Republican nominee whoever it is!

That's exactly the attitude that got us John McCain on our ticket last year.

We've got to unite against having any more RINOs on our side of the ballot. This includes the RINO Romney.

That says all I need to know about you.

This is a conservative site. 95% of FReepers would take issue with your statement. It also shows why you are "comfortable" with Myth. It's not about principles, it's about the winning.

Myth changes his positions, not due to a "conversion" as you believe, but for political expediency. He would be just as comfortable running as a 'rat as a he would Republican. It all depends on what works best for him at the time, just as his changing positions on core conservative values change to suit the political race he is running.

I hope at some point in your life you will realize, as have I, that the vast majority of politicians in both major parties are unprincipled weasels who delight in manipulating gullible voters into believing what they need to believe in order to pull the lever for the weasel's name.

I figured out Myth shortly after he entered the race for the presidency. My 36 years of voting experience have given me very sensitive and accurate radar detection of phonies and that radar was lit up like Hong Kong at Chinese New Year by Myth. Much as I detest McCain, at least you know what he stands for. He proudly bashes conservatives because he is an unashamed liberal/moderate Republican. I have no idea what Myth's "real" principles are. I don't think he knows either.

i respect your commitment to conservative principals (sic) but after the primary has selected our candidate not supporting them 100% gives an advantage to the democrats plain and simple. and what do the democrats bring? welfare, gay rights, weakness abroad and drinking French wine!

If you are a principled conservative, you should be working to prevent liberals, chameleons and question marks from being nominated. Instead, you are on the premier conservative web site, stumping for a chameleon.
