A video purporting to show Ashley Biden -- daughter of Vice President Joe Biden -- snorting cocaine reportedly is being offered for sale. The New York Post reports that it was shown a 90-second clip of a 42-minute video by a lawyer claiming to represent an anonymous "friend" of the vice president's daughter. The lawyer, Thomas Dunlap, and another man say the video shows Biden's daughter using the drug at a house party this month in Delaware.

I’m sure this will be trumpeted in the MSM for weeks, just like the breathless reporting of Jenna Bush having a beer.
Well.....it’s made it to FOX. Will it go on to the “lesser” news outlets..ABC, CBS and MSNBC or whatever they call themselves now?
I’d love it to be true, but that’s a strange story.
Come on. We have to be more sensitive. She’s struggling with her mother’s death in that accident!
She’s 27 years old. He can’t control what she does.
I don’t see what the big deal is. Let her enjoy herself.
It’s so difficult to the vice president’s daughter. The stress and everything must have forced her to do drugs. The constant right wing defamation of father and his “friend” must be overwhelming!
I dunno, this probably solidifies her credentials to be a future pres--ent.
If Biden was my dad I’d probably do coke,too....
As I said last night on a similar post . . . Unless there is VERIFIABLE DOCUMENTATION, all this “alleged” stuff is nothing but gossip mongering.
Democrats blow up allegations into full fledged Congressional Investigations. Republicans are too soft to do the same and should not be like the Democrats, period.
Republicans wait until the Truth is VERIFIED by a reliable source (and Media is questionable, except maybe for the British/Canadian Press) and then Republicans tell the documented truth!
Example: Democrats accept Wiki and Snopes as “documentation” and “verification.”
Republicans demand to see the actual documents before making an educated decision!
Recall: Constitution Uber Alles.
“I dont see what the big deal is. Let her enjoy herself.”
It’s illegal to start with.
Or Bristol Palin’s love child.
The tape has been viewed by a RadarOnline.com freelance reporter who confirms the woman looks identical to Ashley Biden.
Tom Dunlap, an attorney for Dunlap, Grubb and Weaver in Washington D.C. is representing the seller of the tape in brokering a deal and several news organizations have seen the footage.
In addition to RadarOnline.com, representatives for the New York Post, a large British newspaper and the National Enquirer have all viewed the tape.
Some “friend”. Just like Michael Phelps “friends”.
If Joe was my dad I’d probably snort D-Con.
The only significance in the story is as you said, compare the media handling with the Bush girls having a drink. But then we know the media are hypocrites.
Since when is a 27 year old a "child?"
And we’re all supposed to care about PEOPLE Magazine-like issues...?
This is significant for a couple of reasons (if it is true)
1. Cocaine is illegal, and Hillary just a couple days ago blamed Americans insatiable appetite for all the deaths on the border.
2. If you cannot teach your own children not to break the law, is it because you are a lawbreaker yourself, and therefore need more scrutiny?
3. We need to bring items like these to the forefront. We are not fabricating them if they are true, it is an extremely effective tactic that the left employs agains us, and we have to be ready to fight to win, while standing on our principles. I don’t want to see us sink to lying, however, I am done giving the politicians who lie cheat and steal, along with their families, a pass because it is the respectable thing to do. Don’t bring a knife to a gunfight!
4. She is a social worker, that means her judgement is important and she is addicted to drugs if the info is true. Children are at risk if that is the case, and it NEEDS to be dealt with ASAP should this be factual.
Funny video but a bit on the long side.
I know but don’t care. Change the law.
There is a law. Drugs are illegal. Taking drugs are illegal. What part of illegal is so hard to grasp?
Child as defined as progeny, offspring, next generation, etc.
As I am not a lib, child has a meaning other than "chilrun" in the Jocelyn Elders lexicon.
Just as expected, Hillary was wrong: it’s our nation’s insatiable Prohibitionist laws that are the reason for the violence. No more Drug War = no more crime.
None of it is hard to grasp. I just refuse to live by them.
1. Hillary Clinton is an idiot and Democrat true believers will never "connect the dots" about Ms. Biden's drug use.
2. You paint with too broad a brush. Many drug abusers were raised by saintly parents. Many of them good and true conservatives.
3. Lead on Don Quixote.
4. If she is a drug addict, report it to her bosses, don't sell the info to the media.
Lastly, as I said, my G.A.S. meter isn't pegged. (Give A Shart.)
So, how long have you been a member of DU?
Here at Free Republic, we actually respect the Rule of Law, because there are benefits to all of society, like a stable nonaddictive population.
Who really cares? With all the damage Obama and Biden are going to do to this country, what Biden’s daughter does is not even worth mentioning.
What about Biden’s son who defrauded investors for millions, along with Biden’s brother? This was well known for month before the election, yet still goes unreported by the media.
lol. Winner!
Please, lay off the insults (by comparing me to DU). The laws that are written myst comply to the Supreme Law of the Land, which is the Constitution—& nowhere in the Constitution does it give the feds the power to criminalize drug use.
The way the Supreme Court interprets the Commerce Clause, there is absolutely nothing the feds can't regulate. We are all small cogs in the large wheel.
Sad.
So what does the Constitution authorize the feds to criminalize? Provide some specifics.
Sorry Mr. Webster. I will try to use the language decreed by the Speech Nazis.
LOL. No soup for you.
The Supreme Court has been just as guilty of re-interpreting the Constitution as Congress & the Presidents have been (take Roe v. Wade, for instance — making up new “rights” while squashing original rights). That’s doesn’t make it constitutional, however.
Read article I, Section 8....they are listed in detail right there.

Is that also Ron Paul's position that if you don't agree with a law it's ok to ignore it?
and since she is a state or federal employee, if she doesn’t volunteer for rehab and they “randomly” test her, she’s gone.
I would also venture her career as YWCA spokesperson is kaput.
The sad part is she MAY be completely innocent. WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION before heating the tar and killing the chickens..
BTTT !!!!!!
This will be the brief statement from the MSM !!

No, cocaine is NOT illegal. Cocaine is Schedule II because it has medical uses.
To manufacture, distribute, or dispense, or possess with intent to manufacture, distribute, or dispense, a controlled substance is an unlawful act.
Cocaine, in and of itself, is not "illegal". In fact, there are NO "illegal drugs". There are only "unlawful acts".
Poor you, you've been duped, along with millions of your fellow Citizens.
damn straight McGruff....and remember those highway laws. Don’t wanna see ya over 65 and you best come to a complete stop for that stop sign.
To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof.
Moreover, there are plenty of other articles and amendments in the Constitution that provide powers to criminalize behavior. Article I Section 8 just describes the scope of legislative power. Does the federal government have the right to criminalize murder? Theft? Counterfeiting? The fact that drugs are not mentioned specifically in the Constitution is not the issue.
This is probably on her road to recovery.
