A Saginaw man stuck his finger where he shouldn't have. Lucky for him, help wasn't far away. Victor Harris, 25, was pouring a fuel additive into his Lincoln Navigator at 7-Eleven, 614 S. Washington, about 5 a.m. Thursday when a paper lid from the additive fell into the gasoline tank.

He doesn't plan to stick his finger in any more gas tanks. ''I learned my lesson,'' Harris said. ''Forget that.''

Well, that's progress. I wonder if the insurance company will pay to fix his car?
