By any rational or civilized standard, John Maynard Keynes was a totally amoral scoundrel. Keynes At Harvard, a well documented study by Zygmund Dobbs, first published by Archibald Roosevelt's Veritas Foundation (Conservative Harvard Alumni) in 1962, thoroughly exposed Keynes as a Fabian Socialist sociopath, deliberately seeking to undermine free market Capitalism. Dobbs also showed Keynes to be a notorious homosexual pedophile, who predated NAMBLA, advising other wealthy & depraved British Leftists where, in the third world, they might expect the best price for "bed & boy." This vile bit of history is not, of course, our point.
We intend to discuss Keynes & his economic theories, their effect on present & future prospects and why they would appeal to anyone. Keynes might have been the most evil man who ever walked the earth, yet have written and spoken economic sense. It would not be fair argument to damn an economic theory, simply because it was formulated by an evil man. Yet in this case, the scoundrel in Keynes was the whole man. His economics reflected the same total disdain for moral standards--the same sociopathic tendencies--as did his misuse of pre-adolescent boys. It is sad that so few are even aware of Keynes actual place in the breakdown of fundamental principles, once recognized as essential to healthy markets & economic well-being.

I wouldn't compare a rake having an affair with another man's wife, to a true sociopath who advised his wealthy perverted friends--also Fabian Socialists--where they could find pre-adolescent boys to bugger in third world countries.
But again, the real point of my article is that the same sociopathic tendencies are what drove Keynes' theorizing. He was not trying to save the free Market; rather to destroy it.

The reason I put it in, is explained in the language that immediately follows. That Keynes was a totally amoral sociopath who didn't just have sick tendencies in his personal life; he made a point of promoting them in others. His economics reflect the same totally warped tendencies. Taking his economic advice is somewhat in the same category of a police department hiring a serial killer as Chief Of Police. (The man was simply not on our side, in his dedicated pursuits.)

Right, which is why I wouldn’t have dismissed the reference in the first paragraph to his deviant lifestyle by saying it isn’t your point. It certainly is an important point, a, if not the factor leading to a compelling conclusion. I would have worded it differently. Interesting piece.
Of course it's the point - part of it, anyway.
Keynes was not interested in reproduction or posterity. That's how he could archly dismiss criticism about the long-term effects of his policy guidance with the quip, "In the long run, we're all dead".
That politicians would even give lip service to being "Keynesians" tells us a great deal about the quality of contemporary politics.

I’m not particularly well-informed on him, but what I do know of him, I’m unimpressed by.
There is a double standard on what sort of background information the mainstream media is inclined to make public. I haves since posting the above, been posting on Usenet, and you would be amused perhaps at what sort of responses I am getting on a British newsgroup link. It is a sad commentary on the present ethical standards in the Western world.

The attack on Keynes was, of course, challenged, with particular emphasis and ire at my having discussed his sociopathic tendencies--particularly the references to his homosexual pedophilia. I responded, initially, with gentlemanly replies, and went off line. When I checked back on the particular venues, Wednesday noon, I found that someone had posted three scurrilous articles under my name, using my email address, with some of the News Groups! I spent some time with my security provider, verifying that my computer had not been compromised. Apparently, there are servers out there, who will allow anyone to post under any name, and email address, to whatever purpose they desire.
Apparently, some one out there, on the Left, really did not like the idea of anyone challenging the character or credentials of the Fabian guru, John Maynard Keynes. Apparently someone with Keynes' own moral compass--such as it was!
