Exclusive: Biden Daughter Cocaine Video Was a Setup
Radaronline ^ | Mar 31, 2009 | Radaronline

Posted on 03/31/2009 8:34:58 PM PDT by bigbob

It was a setup.

The video purporting to show Vice President Joe Biden's daughter Ashley snorting cocaine was preplanned by a man trying to get rich selling the tape, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The man, who is apparently a friend of Ashley's, even bought the cocaine and the hidden camera, our investigation has uncovered.

We've all read the allegations and understand that's all they are - allegations. So tonight Bill O'Reilly atop his High Horse interviews the editor of Radaronline who evidently wrote the article linked here (no byline given). The gist of the piece is how "unfair" this is to the Biden Family, and for that reason, O'Reilly has the audio bleeped when the guy is describing the alleged acts. And they go on about how despicable the person who made the tape and the law firm who was promoting it are.

My question is: "So what"? What difference does it make if a person (allegedly) commits illegal acts while being set-up by a would-be profiteer, or not? The acts are still illegal, and the judgement of the individual is just as much in question.

O'Reilly had no difficult saying the words when Sarah Palins family was being raked through the mud, or on countless other occasions. Yet this time, he bleeps the audio on five occasions so his audience cannot even hear what the alleged acts were. (Of course this just sent those who hadn't heard scurrying to Google it).

Is O'Reilly right, or just being hypocritical?

HAHA it's not much of a setup if you put cocaine in someone's face and they snort it and complain that the line isn't big enough, as Ashley Biden did.

That's like putting steroids in front of Michelle Obama and when she takes it and gets gigantic muscles like she has...

BOR is a jackass. Did she snort the cocaine or not? That’s what matters. It’s a given that the guy who taped it and is trying to sell it is a slimeball. However, the fact remains that she still did it.

It’s not like they are allowed in the White House.

(well, Barry may think about allowing Joe’s daughter now)

But did he force her to snort it? Yeah, didn't think so.

O'Reilly was funny tonite. As the guy from RadarOnline said Snorting Cocaine about 3 times, he bleeped it out. He was taking the "high road" so to speak. It was about as stupid as it gets.

Did O'Reilly cover the Michael Phelps bong story? That guy did exactly the same thing to Phelps, and though I don't watch O'Reilly, I can only assume he got on his high horse about Phelps.

In fact, that high horse is exactly why I don't watch O'Reilly. That and his Mr. Haney style hawking of his crap non-stop.

I don’t care about Biden’s adult daughter. Or his cousin, or his cousins cousin. Or his cousins friend. Just because the left is a collection of classless a-hole means I have to suddenly become a classless a-hole. Families will still be off limits to me. My value system doesn’t change based on who’s in power.

I feel that way about Palin.

Even though I dislike Biden, his family should be off-limits, also.

Focus on the office holders.

O.J. went to prison for the acts he committed during a "setup," because as the prosecution so aptly pointed out, he had the choice to not take action and the actions he chose were illegal.

This is the point I was making earlier. Seems Biden's daughter is a 'victim'.

O'Reilly has become a parody of himself. He's boorish, and acts like he is King of America.

Diva: Think she'll be a WOD victim? I doubt it. He has the clout to get the she's a victim ruling if it even comes to that.

It's the "all rules apply to others except me" rationality.

"Families will still be off limits to me.

As I've said on a number of similar threads the last week, I'm tired of unilaterally disarming. The Bush twins were painted as booze-addled, rich-girl, trust-fund brats at every opportunity. And, it took it's toll on Bush's popularity. It didn't happen overnight, but over the long run, it did the intended damage.

Every morning chat show covered in detail the Rolling Stone cover story where Ashton Kutcer implied that the Bush twins were smoking weed at a party he hosted - in front of SS agents no less. There was no video, no pictures and no verification other than Kuthcer's word. But, that did not stop them from reporting the Rolling Stone story.

You're right, Mr. O'Haney blamed Phelps, not the guy who gave him the bong. His unwillingness to blame Biden's kid for her own actions is an effort to bend over backwards to appear to be "fair and balanced." ....a regular occurrence which most viewers see right through.

Actually I mostly agree with that, regardless of whether it was Chelea, the Bush twins, Cheney’s gay daughter, or the Obama girls. Leave the kids alone.

What I had a problem with here is O’Reillys overly protective coverage with the bleeping and all, especially when he didn’t extend the same protection to Bristol Palin, Michael Phelps, or others who have had similar allegations made against them.

It is funny how he manages to tick off the Left and the Right equally over the same issue!

Maybe she was set up. But why would the "friend" be so certain that she would snort the coke? Seems that there must have been a known pattern of behavior on the part of Miss Biden.

She is a licensed social worker. The state should be investigating this and reviewing her license. Anyone else would be subject to a felony cocaine possession investigation right now.

I think it is the same deal as Jeb Bush's daughter a while back.
Some bashed Bush for his beliefs and principles when his daughter got addicted and made these bad choices.
They put her in rehab and I can't say if it worked, but I wish Bush's daughter well.

Here Biden’s daughter did indeed do the coke.
Whether she is a recreational user or very addicted, she still should be monitored in rehab and a few people will take a stab at the VP the way they did Jeb Bush.

That's the way it goes.

If the family keeps mute and the daughter stays in public like nothing happened, that is enabling on a parental and law breaking way.

Anything less than rehab would be wrong here.

Sorry, no mercy.

We supposedly have an "escalating drug violence" problem on the border with Mexico that's gotten so bad that we need to disarm all law-abiding Americans to save Mexico...and here's the VP's progeny, adding to the demand for cocaine and whatnot.

It's Ms. Biden's fault, then, that Mexico has this problem, and she needs to apologize to Mexico.

There. I set the record straight.

IMHO, the family members of elected officials should be off-limits.

I feel that way about Palin.

You did, they didn't, both she and her whole family were slimed by the media and Obama minions. Asking to see The Kenyon's birth certificate was outrageous, but demanding to see Trig's was OK.

Even though I dislike Biden, his family should be off-limits, also.

Biden's has built his own political power base using the War on Drugs and the anti-male Violence Against Women Act. The first has wrecked a lot of people's childens lives, and the second has destroyed a lot of men's lives, and families, by enabling dubious accusations of rape/abuse to go forward, reversing the basic idea of American Anglo-Saxon law, "innocent until proven innocent." The "Duke LAX Rape" hoax was a direct result of Joe Biden's machinations.

And Biden's 27 year old daughter was also pretty high profile during her father's 2008 campaign, see Campaigning a Biden family affair

Other people's kids have to go to prison for drug use, but Biden's daughter is off-limits for discussion? F-that. We should be asking why Joe is not demanding that his daughter go to jail, and what he knew, and when he knew it.

While I agree with you, O’Reilley putting on that ridiculous episode with the pseudo concern for the Biden’s privacy made me laugh. Who is he kidding? If he wanted to help the Bidens then keep that trash off the air. What makes me sick most of all is the media double standard - while they absolutely murdered the Palin family, here the headline is that the Biden tape was “withdrawn”. No the lawyer withdrew but the tape is real.

I remember the skell who broke into Sarah Palin’s email account and posted them online - and then the lawyer Gloria Allred was all self righteous saying that Palin was using personal email for state work and it needs to be investigated. Nothing about that the materially was wrongfully obtained, illegally obtained, no attempt to down play it instead they broadly covered it in the media. My reaction was if Gloria Allred calls this legitimate then we need to open all the private email accounts of all the candidates running for President - immediately - and if that doesn’t seem fair then Palin’s emails should have never been discussed.

Double standards. Biden’s daughter should be treated like Bristol Palin. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

I guess my analogy would be: If you knew Miss Biden liked to stab puppies with a fork. And you knew that Miss Biden regularly stabbed puppies with a fork on her own accord. You set up a hidden camera in a room with a puppy and a fork and invited Miss Biden to that room.

If Miss Biden stabs the puppy with a fork does the fact that she was invited to a room with all of the elements to the crime, except her presence to commit the crime...does that absolve her of responsibility for stabbing the puppy with the fork?

O’Reilly was a hoot last night. They had the reporter on reporting the “story.” Problem is there wasn’t a story because whenever the mention of “cocaine” was used they bleeped it. So it went like this, “It was reported that Allison Biden went to a party and bleep, bleep, bleep.” We are not sure that Allison bleep, bleep, bleep, was actually using bleep, bleep, bleep. A law firm was marketing videos of her bleep, bleep, bleep. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, or actually didn’t hear.

Just read it. Same stuff---hate yourself because you're white. Another group whose ideology potentially becomes law in some way. Call it the 'oppression act'--no words like terrorist, illegal, etc.--hate speech.

(snip)

Americans long have preferred to donate their money through the private sector or to private charities. Of the the most current data available, $95.5 billion, or 79 percent, came from private foundations, corporations, voluntary organizations, universities, religious organizations and individuals, according to the latest annual Index of Global Philanthropy, which is published by a Washington research organization, the Center for Global Prosperity at the Hudson Institute. (See related article.)

The Giving USA report does not take into account the value of contributions Americans make in terms of time and labor. More than 61 million Americans volunteered for charitable and national service organizations in 2006, and about half of all Americans participate in volunteer activities each year, according to Brooks. Volunteerism is “a major cultural phenomenon in the U.S.,” Brooks says.

Obama will ruin this trend. As people are taxed more, to the breaking point, they simply won't have money to be charitable.

It's obvious that Americans are generous, more generous than any other nation on earth. Obama seems to believe he needs to harness this gift-giving, through redistribution, and to make it seem like this money is a gift from our great benefactor.

Finally, there is what I deem "implied military aid"

Many of our allies reduce military spending knowing the United States will pick up the tab in some way, spending more money on our military to cover these reductions. NATO uses the bulk of US troops in its operations, while we pick up the bulk of the tab. This 'implied military aid' is undoubtedly considerable.

Regards.
