Neocons for Obama
Washington Independent ^ | March 31, 2009 | David Weigel

We knew it on Friday, when Bill Kristol praised President Obama’s decision to send more troops to Afghanistan, but the degree to which neoconservatives are happy with the plan is striking. “He’s definitely saying no to pulling back,” said Fred Kagan, at the neoconservative Foreign Policy Initiative conference today in Washington. “It was a gutsy and correct decision.” Kagan worried/predicted that Obama’s base would bristle at the plan, so “he will be counting on some significant amount of support from his political opponents.”

I don’t know anyone that take Bill Kristol seriously, except for Bill Kristol.

One of the dirty little secrets about the so-called “neo-cons” is that they aren’t very conservative at all. William Kristol probably supports about 80% of Barack Obama’s political agenda.

Yeah, people really need to study up on the history of neo-conservatives. There is a reason for the “neo” prefix.

This is not surprising as Obama tries to establish a center position on defense.

He’s seriously showing his naivete. Boots on the ground without guns in the hand isn’t much of a surge. Obama’s cutting the defense budget so these new boots on the ground will be mostly doing charity work and getting shot in the process.

The term neocon was from the title of the article by that great antisemite (sarc), David Weigel.

Actually, it wasn’t Kristol this time. It was his fellow neocon David Weigel. Lest we called “antisemites” for noting this, let everyone note that the term was used by Weigel.

I just did a tour of the site your article is from.

Loaded with anti Israel, anti Jewish propaganda.

Your site also full of links to leftwing sites,
DailyKOS, etc.

Not as tiring as seeing people sucked into his world of L Ron Paul. Do the research

I like both (though dont agree with all they stand for),

Ron Paul certainly has brought back to the forefront the issue of adherence toward constituional principles, even in legislation back into the mainstreme..this is a good thing, wouldn’t you say?
