You know Michelle is thinking, "Hey, at least I don't look as bad as her!"

Women who wear dark hose with light shoes ignite a violent rage in me. Seriously how can you think that looks good? No one better pop up saying they wear dark hose with light shoes all the time and they look fabulous. You don't. It looks silly.

Is there some kind of United Nations fashion contingent that could take them both to a fashion police tribunal? That's really the only way this will stop

Wait — I stand corrected — that is Sarah Brown. The lighting must have made her look much more blond than in the earlier post #527.

Whatever it is, it looks like it has an antenna. Could be a phone, walkie-talkie, or something entirely different. Never can tell with MO. Could it be a microphone? I know some of those look like they have an antenna. Trying to make sense of what she has on is very, very hard.

It is too bad that Obama didn't find someone more in the line of Condi Rice, who is a true intellect and is the epitome of class. Additionally, Condi never had a chip on her shoulder. She carried herself with dignity, unlike Michelle, who simply doesn't have it in her. Condi represented the United States with true professionalism and always knew how to dress for any occasion. She was and is a class act.

Michelle should be wearing dresses and suits made of fine fabrics, period, on this trip. And no dresses which could be mistaken as a blouse and skirt. Simple cuts and colors, and fer cryin' out loud if she MUST have bare arms, at least do a cap sleeve. If her designers can't be creative and deliver stunning outfits within those easy guidelines, then they have very little leading-edge, unique design savvy.

The same goes for Michelle--she appears to be very limited in style-sense savvy. All she can come up with as a style "trailblazer" are the pumped-up PTA-mom bombs.

Wake me when this is over. As many here will attest to, this is all downright laughable.

After the stylish beauty of Lady Di, the British have to endure this? Light shoes with dark stockings and a dark dress? This is major No-No 101. The fashion savvy French must be having a field day with Sarah Brown.

Michelle's dress is better today, but stockings are missing, and that speaks volumes of her knowledge of etiquette and appropriateness.

As for the sleeveless look, I have come to the conclusion that Michelle must be the type who sweats like Satchmo and needs to keep as cool as she can at all times.

I almost get the sense that they are praising them a bit patronizingly.

I get the sense that they are absolutely snickering behind their hands at the display of "no class". Just one more thing to play into the European attitude of superiority over America, and it almost looks like the Obamas are aware of it and playing to the crowd, thinking they are being cute.
