WCCO Radio host Eleanor Mondale said her brain cancer has returned and she will take disability leave from the station.
The 49-year-old daughter of former Vice President Walter Mondale, put a message on the radio's website:
"I think the second most horrible words to hear after "You have brain cancer" are "The cancer is back".... but it's happened. Again. My fantastic Dr. at the Mayo Clinic - Dr. Joon Uhm - has prescribed a new treatment, and I am hoping, this time, that "third time is a charm."
Mondale was first diagnosed with brain cancer in 2004 and again last year. She returned to WCCO Radio last June.

Prayers for her. Cancer of any kind is awful, but I think maybe brain cancer would be the worst. My brother in law suffered from it.

Is this the Mondale daughter that Monica thought Bill was seeing when Monica was servicing Bill?
To: Borges
Since my mother passed away from a brain tumor, I have nothing but the utmost of sympathy for anyone with the same condition.
Prayers for Ms. Mondale.

She used to be a real hottie back in the 80s when her father ran for Prez . Gorgeous .Which was a real good genetic break for her, considering the butt ugliness of her father. But it looks like the genetic bag was mixed. She seems like a real nice woman. This is sad.
