Governor Lauds the State House for HB 35 Requiring Parental Notice and Consent
http://www.gov.state.ak.us/news.php?id=1736 ^ | April 2, 2009 | Governor Sarah Palin

Governor Sarah Palin today thanked state representatives for their efforts in passing House Bill 35, a bill that would require parental notice and consent before girls under the age of 17 could have an abortion.

“Today, 22 members of the House of Representatives took a significant step toward protecting Alaska’s children and strengthening Alaska’s families,” Governor Palin said. “The most important thing at stake is the right of Alaska’s children to receive the support and input of their parents as they face a life-changing decision. I strongly urge Senate leaders to give this bill a committee hearing, as they did not last year, and to bring it to the floor, where every senator would have a chance to say 'yes' to protecting Alaska's most precious resource, the lives of our children."

How can you be a RINO if you’re for parental consent? In my simple mind that does not compute.

Well this attitude shows that she’s definitely NOT a RINO.

Planned Parenthood laughs at your laws.

A decade ago a local station and a pro-life group called around a hundred abortion clinics in Texas and other states with parental consent.

All but one told the ‘minor girl’ to bring in any adult as their parent and that would be okay. and if they were pregnant because of statutory rape and are supposed to report that? nope, they won’t.

so laws won’t work.

Name a law that some people don't try to circumvent.

The answer to Planned Parenthood evading parental consent laws is to shut down Planned Parenthood for breaking those laws.
