Are non-US citizens legally allowed to posses guns in the US?Permanent resident aliens ("green card" holders) are allowed to possess firearms.
Non-resident aliens, generally, may not.

Are non-US citizens legally allowed to posses guns in the US? Legal permanent resident aliens may. Legal visitors may only under very limited conditions. Basically while hunting or target shooting. See US state and federal gun laws for non-citizens

Binghamton has a bad crime problem. A big part of that is drugs. Criminals can get guns a heck of a lot easier in NYS than law abiding citizens.
