I agree.
The Texas Rangers did not get their reputation for toughness by playing hop-scotch. And Wyatt Earp did not clean up at the OK Corral by handing out trespass notices. Somehow I think if these guys were involved in the NY Immigration Center shooting things may have been done differently.
Before I posted that I went looking for some video of a court house in (I think) Texas where shots were fired outside and all the law enforcement guys went running towards the gunfire.
Since I am sometimes critical of them I was hoping to post that video because it makes magnificently clear that this is something that at least many of the rank and file cops want to fix.
It is a great piece of film and I hope that someone posts a link.
