End "Corrective" Rape of Lesbians in South Africa

ccording to Action Aid, Cape Town support groups report about 10 corrective rape cases a week. Corrective rape is where men are raping lesbians in hopes to cure them of their sexual orientation. Most of these brutal attacks are being reported from towns like Johannesburg and Cape Town, where the rape crime is immensely high. Despite these massive reporting, victims cries for help still seem to fall on deaf ears. Statics show that 24 out of every 25 reported men walk free due to the fact that the African government does not recognize hate crimes as a crime. It is because of issues like these that Africa has turned into the rape capital of the world, where a quarter of all women are being raped by the age of 16.

HiTech RedNeck, Freud was not a psychologist, but you’re correct, he did obtain a lot of information based on 12 case studies of rich, male Austrian in the 19th century. His research is nearly worthless to be applied to anyone else as he performed case studies, not quantitative analysis.

I think the best approach is to tell the truth and not get into an argument with someone completely ignorant of a topic. It is obvious that this person is basing her opinion on worthless anecdote and has already stated she is ignorant, but does not wish to be enlightened. I would suggest ignoring her irrelevant “opinion.” Everybody’s got one.

Same gender sexual behavior is not only degrading and devestating, it’s evil. It destroyes the mind and ensnares the body. Rape is a crime of power, not sexually based, just sexually enforced. Neither group is justified in their evil practice, no matter who consents to what, but wether one evil is more base than another, neither will do anyone any good.

And I can almost guarantee that even in the anecdotes you provided, there are probably more incidents of abuse than what you know about. You are correct, the DESIRE is not clear cut, but EVERYONE has a choice about BEHAVIOR. Life is not about sex, no matter how much deviants try to make it out to be.

I dont believe that many Lesbians are being raped correctionally or otherwise.

I dont believe there are that many outed lesbians in Africa.

My belief is that Africn men are raping women and claiming they are lesbians to get around the law.

Certainly there are a few lwsbians getting caught, but unless Africa is unlike other nations only 2% ( a statistic I have argued for years) are homosexual and no way would they find them all so they could rape them.

I don’t believe all gays were born that way - maybe a few, but not many.
I’ve known a few lesbians as friends - several were heterosexual until they were raped. The trauma left them not wanting anything to do with men and sex. Others switched because they were mistreated by men. Only the extremely ignorant could think rape would “cure” a lesbian - it’s an excuse to get away with rape.

I’m just becoming aware of Jeff Satinover’s work in this area (I’m reading his Quantum Brain)and I find it resonates at a very deep level......that so much of what is commonly ascribed to genetics really boils down to early programming that is open to change should one choose to do so.

On the debate, religion has nothing to do with a personal sexual activity choice. Gay is gay by choice. They love pleasure more than themselves... and that is why they make so much political noise. Many Gays, themselves, will acknowledge that they consider what they do is "wrong". Hence, the "closet".

You can still read the Bible without religious opinion. I suggest you read Song of Songs and stories of cherube like kings or queens or other angelic agents at the breasts of women.

Love is love, and saying one is born gay butchers the whole faithlessness in such and promotes rape. It takes strength to love, and while some are born weak physicaly, it takes strong sirit to overcome. Thence is the Revelation.

I meant strong Spirit not “sirit”, sheesh, ie. if one were to go by law, then OCD behavior would overtake and neglect us ironically.
