I work in the stock market on the top floor of a skyscraper. I wear business suits.

I wonder where I would carry it. :)

Not me. We have the big red slash thru gun stickers on every door. But, we have 24/7 Columbus Police Department protection on-site (we’re a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.) So we’re safer than many.

My office is pro gun. But I work from home.

Unless your business is redneck I doubt many would allow firearms on the premises.

Oh believe me, there's a way. Why not your briefcase?

Is there a written policy on CCW's?

My husband & I are self-employed, and yes - we do keep a gun on the premises.

Yeah, I’m self-employed. If I showed up for work without a gun, I’d fire myself.

Cause for dismissal where I work - it’s in the handbook.

Pretty much every place I’ve ever worked has prohibited guns.

So we’re safer than many.

You are certainly safer than those who will have a SWAT team arrive in minutes and then take hours to "assess" the situation before going in to rescue you.

It’s in Redneck country & employs a lot of Rednecks, but it is owned by Ohioans — definitely not rednecks!

I am in the military and can’t bring a gun into headquarters. However obviously we are pro-second amendment, but the base has restrictions.

I manage a Garden Center. My employees are not allowed to pack heat, but they ARE allowed to split open the head of anyone trying to rob us (with or without a gun) with a steel-tined rake or a garden hoe. They can give ‘em a squirt in the eye with ANYTHING in the Chemical Aisle, too. Much better than pepper spray...which we also sell, but is not intended as a weapon against people, just critters.

One of my stock boys broke open a bottle of ‘Liquid Fence’ in the back stock area; it was 100 times stronger than the WORST Stink Bomb you ever set off in Junior High. He was barfing it smelled that bad, LOL!

I feel pretty safe at work. Plenty-o-things that could quickly become a weapon within arms reach if needed. :)

Think about it. You don’t really need a gun, do ya? Heck, the Army taught me how to kill a man with a No. 2 yellow pencil! If I can do it, anyone can. :)

“Unless your business is redneck I doubt many would allow firearms on the premises.”

So only Rednecks appreciate the 2nd amendment?

They cause insurance rates to skyrocket. I used to have a boss who owned the company and he kept a gun in his office but it was a no no for us. However he didn't get too upset if there was one locked in our cars.

Here in Florida nearly every company is gun friendly. At least so far as to having one in your car.

We should stop worrying about guns in the workplace and just outlaw murder.

Not me. Many facilities prohibit cameras too. That includes cellphone cameras.
