One of the gravest threats to religious liberty and freedom of speech is proposed hate crime legislation. Even while national attention is focused is on the economy and Obamas radical economic and foreign policy, the far left is at work undermining our First Amendment rights at home with hate crime legislation.
In other countries where these types of laws have been implemented, pastors and Christians have been jailed and fined for their faithful adherence to the scriptures.
US Congressman John Conyers is reintroducing the same hate crime bill that was passed in the last Congress, but was vetoed by President Bush. Conyers hopes that it will be passed and signed by President Obama.

So much for the 1st Amendment.
The assault against Christianity by Democrats continues. There will be backlash at the next election assuming the GOP has brains. That is a big assumption though.
Let the Feds attempt to arrest popular pastors, and maybe whole congregations, in various Conservative sections of the country!
Let's get the party started!
I agree. I hope we will not be cowards if they move against us. The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church. And the foundation of freedom, I might add.
There, fixed it.
Christianity, being the truth, is the only religion that the left (Satan’s useful idiot brigade) attacks.
We should expect it.
There has to be a triggering event, and this might as well be it.
Philippians 1:21 - “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
I’m fear not.
>I fear not, rather.
Guess all those liberal pro choice Catholics that voted for our Anti - American anti - Christian President, did not see what the rest of us saw coming..
Congress critter ping!
I signed the petition.
The Left will rue the day...
I suggest everyone get to know some bubbas.
A right to free speech? Where do you people think you are...the United States??
We won’t be. We will stand up to these fools.
The lie-berals got the activist courts, on the third try, to take out of context the words of Thomas Jefferson in which he told the Danbury Baptist, when they requested of him to make the practice of religion an unalienable right, that he would put a wall of separation between the state and church to protect the church. They got their illegal grant and now they want to tell the church what to say and not say.
Disobedience to tyrants is obedience to God.
