One of the gravest threats to religious liberty and freedom of speech is proposed hate crime legislation. Even while national attention is focused is on the economy and Obama’s radical economic and foreign policy, the far left is at work undermining our First Amendment rights at home with hate crime legislation.
In other countries where these types of laws have been implemented, pastors and Christians have been jailed and fined for their faithful adherence to the scriptures.
US Congressman John Conyers is reintroducing the same hate crime bill that was passed in the last Congress, but was vetoed by President Bush. Conyers hopes that it will be passed and signed by President Obama.

Dear wife Monica Conyers is maybe the biggest idiot on the Detroit City Council. To snag that title among those fools is REALLY saying something.
They aren’t going to stop at censoring Christians... I believe they’ll go after all “incorrect” thoughts.
The American people have been given the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. What virus has infected Congress and the judicial sector in order to trash those sacred documents, and what is the antidote? We, the people, no longer have standing! And the government is above the law.
These are evil days, indeed!
Let’s plant some seeds for them to start with the bible belt in the south so they can meet the good old boys.

This bill simply seeks to implement his strategy: Make Christianity illegal.
Republicans are guilty here too. It passed the last Congress when the Dems didn’t have the majority.
