Saw a comment on Fox News this morning about how the US Navy got there, surrounded the ship, and were suprised to learn that their sheer overwhelming presence wasn’t enough to make the pirates cower in fear and surrender immediately. My reaction: “well duh, they know nothing is going to happen, so why be concerned? Wielding firepower means nothing if you’re not going to use it.”
I was wondering if he would have a statement. The White House released something yesterday but the president has yet to publicly utter a word.
