This is a typical teaching for Islamic creationists terrorists, whether from Hamas or the PLO. They teach that evolution is a lie invented by Jews. The only type of descent of man they speak of is that Jews are the descendants of apes and pigs.

When some Islamic supremacists today speak of them as the “descendants of apes and pigs,” they mean just that. A 1996 Hamas publication says that today's Jews are bestial in spirit, and this is a manifestation of the punishment of their forefathers. The Jews, it says, invented the theory of evolution in order to transfer their shame at being blood relatives of animals to the entire human race. The Saudi Sheikh Abd Al-’Aziz Qari expressed the common view in a sermon several years ago when he said: “The Jews are the objects of Allah's [promised] wrath, while the Christians deviate from the path of righteousness.” The Koran described the Jews as a nation cursed by Allah, a nation at which he was angry - some of whom he turned into apes and pigs.” Some of them were turned into apes and pigs, so the rest are relatives of apes and pigs, with hearts as bestial as those of their animal brothers.

Now extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

It is you who made the rather extraordinary claim that these terrorists were not Islamic but “Temple of Darwin fanatics”.

Do you have any evidence that they even learn any theories of biological evolution in their schools?

I want specific examples, dreamer. Obviously you have none. And posting stuff that talks about how Jews and Christians EVOLVED from apes and pigs is not helping your case one bit.

These nutter Islamic creationists think Jews “evolved” from apes and pigs by MAGICAL not scientific means. They directly said they thought evolution was a lie invented by Jews to try to say that other people also had an animal nature.

This is what they teach in the Middle East. Creationism. The only descent of humans from “pre living non human matter” (to use the Pope's phrasing), is that Jews were cursed by God to be descended from apes and pigs.

Now how about some evidence to back your extraordinary claim that they are somehow inspired by the “Temple of Darwin”.

Do you have any evidence that they learn ANYTHING about biological evolution in their “madrases” or schools for religious learning where they learn how to be “secular” (according to you) terrorists?

Any evidence of teaching of biological evolution to Arab Islamists?

PS FrontPageMag is the same outfit that declares (along with Gen. Ion Pacepa and many other experts) that Arafat was a Marxist-Leninist—not a Muslim! LOL

Yes, but they have them saying that Jews and Christians EVOLVED from apes and pigs. That doesn’t exactly help your case, dreamer. Moreover, you have still failed to give me specific examples of the PLO/PA teaching creation science in their school system, nor have you given me any examples of creation science jihadis. I won’t be holding my breath.

Evolution by magical means, by the power of God; not as a general feature of life by descent with modification, and not true of all humans, but a specific curse on Jews.

Just as I hear the Cretarded often say “they might be descended from apes, but not me.” I suppose that makes them evolutionists?

This is what they teach in the Middle East. In black and white. Evolution is a lie invented by Jews to try to ascribe a bestial nature to all of humanity that they have been specifically cursed by Allah with.

Now how about backing your extraordinary claim that Islamic terrorists are actually “Temple of Darwin fanatics” by showing that they actually teach biological evolution in schools.

I wont be holding my breath as I know they do NOT teach biological evolution in their schools; they teach Creationism.

When Islamic Arabs from the Middle East move to England they
are appalled that their children learn biological evolution, and they agitate to have CREATIONISM taught in schools.

http://www.hssonline.org/publications/Newsletter2008/NewsletterJanuary2008Creationism.html

We should expect that creationism will continue to enjoy a strong following in Muslim populations. The prospects for a Western-style accommodation between science and religion, where each have their separate cultural spheres, are doubtful. Culturally and politically, conservative interpretations of Islam are very strong, and conservative Muslims see little reason to back off from their ideal of religion at least distantly regulating all aspects of life.

LOL...you can’t do it, can you! I ask you to show me specifically where Hamas or the PLO (or Al-Queda for that matter) teach creation in their terrorist training camps, and all you can come up with is the negative reaction standard Muslims have towards the atheism that is shoved down their throats in the British school system. As per usual, you’ve got nothing! LOL

No, I have two sources that say that what they teach in the Middle East is Creationism and that evolution is a lie invented by Jews.

You have not ONE IOTA of evidence that these Islamic terrorists that you claim are “Temple of Darwin Fanatics” even learn anything about Biological evolution in school.

They learn Creationism in the Middle East, and when they move to Europe, they demand that Creationism be taught there as well.

Any evidence that they learn anything about, let alone respect and accept Charles Darwin?

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. So far you have provided NO evidence that the madrassas in the Middle East teach biological evolution.

Islamic terrorists creationists. They are Islamic. They are terrorists. They are creationists.

==Any evidence that they learn anything about, let alone respect and accept Charles Darwin?

Your ignorance knows no bounds, dreamer. From Wikipedia, which itself is website devoted to spreading that old-time Temple of Darwin religion. Indeed, they sound a lot like you:

The Qur’an lacks a complete set of time markers in its references to creation,[8] other than declaring that it took six days, and that “days” have been interpreted not just as literal twenty-four hour periods but as stages or other periods of time to complete,[8][9] and therefore is not subject to the same level of debate as some interpretators of the Bible regarding scientific evidence and chronology. Skeptics point out there is no explicit mention of the extinction of whole species long before the creation of man in the Qur’an, whilst its inspiration is defended on the grounds that it is not a book of science. The Bible is held by Muslims to contain errors and therefore has not presented the same level of difficulty in the Islamic world as in some sections of Christianity outlined above. However, in recent years, a movement has begun to emerge in some Muslim countries promoting themes that have been characteristic of Christian creationists and Bible literalists in the past.[10][11][5] Khalid Anees, president of the Islamic Society of Britain, at a conference, Creationism: Science and Faith in Schools, made points including the following:[6] There is no contradiction between what is revealed in the Koran and natural selection and survival of the fittest. However, some Muslims do not agree that one species can develop from another.

Islam also has its own school of Evolutionary creationism/Theistic evolutionism, which holds that mainstream scientific analysis of the origin of the universe is supported by the Qur’an. Many Muslims believe in evolutionary creationism, especially among Sunni and Shia Muslims and the Liberal movements within Islam. However, even amongst Muslims who accept evolution, many believe that humanity was a special creation by God. For example, Shaikh Nuh Ha Mim Keller, an American Muslim and specialist in Islamic law has argued in Islam and Evolution that a belief in macroevolution is not incompatible with Islam, as long as it is accepted that “God is the Creator of everything” (Qur’an 13:16) and that God specifically created humanity (in the person of Adam; Qur’an 38:71-76).

Nothing in there about school kids in the Levant learning about Darwin's theory of evolution through natural selection.

School kids in the Islamic Middle East learn Creationism.

Hameed S (2008). “Bracing for Islamic creationism”. Science 322 (5908): 1637–8. doi:10.1126/science.1163672 (inactive 2008-12-16).

A 2007 study of religious patterns found that only 8% of Egyptians, 11% of Malaysians, 14% of Pakistanis, 16% of Indonesians, and 22% of Turks agree that Darwin's theory is probably or most certainly true, and a 2006 survey reported that about a quarter of Turkish adults agreed that human beings evolved from earlier animal species. In contrast, the 2007 study found that only 28% of Kazakhs thought that evolution is false; this fraction is much lower than the roughly 40% of U.S. adults with the same opinion.[1]

From the Christian Science Monitor....

Creationism has actually been a part of the Turkish science curriculum since 1985, when it was added by government order, and many scientists now fear that it will soon be too hard to uproot.

“The general state of science education is very bad in the sense that evolution and creationism are taught together, and they can't be taught together. If they are, no scientific thinking can be established in these students,” says Aykut Kence, a professor of biology at Ankara's Middle East Technical University.

“We are going to fall behind the modern countries in terms of development, economy, culture. Everything.”

Once again, you have no clue what you are talking about. The teaching of evolution is quite common in Muslim countries, as even the Evos themselves admit:

“evolution is taught in high schools in many Muslim countries, although this is often in a very religious environment, Hameed says. Also, science foundations in 14 Muslim countries recently signed on to a statement in support of the teaching of evolution, including human evolution...”

http://www.livescience.com/culture/081211-islam-evolution.html

As usual, you don’t have a clue what you are talking about, dreamer. And you have still not provided a shred of evidence that they teach creation science in PLO(PA)/HAMAS/Al-Qaeda schools and training camps. All you can point to is average Muslims (as opposed to terrorists) rejecting British atheism being shoved down their throats. Let me know when you find some evidence that SPECIFICALLY addresses my questions. But like I said, I won’t be holding my breath, because, as I have already SPECIFICALLY demonstrated, Arafat/Fatah were revolutionary materialists (read: Marxist-Leninist), and thus would not go near creation science in a million years.

LOL!!! From your beloved Evo-science journal Nature. Boy, they sure sound creationist alright! Like I said, you have no clue what you are talking about:

Revival in Iran

"Whatever its motivation, Iran's support for education and science is to be welcomed.

...One practical advantage for science in Muslim countries is the lack of direct interference of religious doctrine, such as exists in many Christian countries."

The vast majority of people within the Muslim world do NOT accept the theory of evolution through natural selection. What is it they believe instead? They believe in CREATIONISM.

They teach Creationism in the Middle East religious schools or madrases.

From your same source...

Like with Christians or Jews, there is no consensus or “official” opinion on evolution among Muslims. However, some of them say that the theory is a cultural threat that acts as a force in favor of atheism, says Hampshire College’s Salman Hameed in an essay in the Dec. 12 issue of the journal Science. This is the same beef that some Christians have with evolution.

However, a general respect for science in the Islamic world means scientists have an opportunity to counter anti-evolution efforts, including the “Atlas of Creation,” a glossy 850-page color volume produced by Muslim creationist Adnan Oktar who goes by the name of Harun Yahya. Numerous university scientists and members of the media received copies of this book as an unsolicited gift in 2007.

“There is a standard narrative that science and Islam are compatible, but evolution is one thought that challenges this assumption,” Hameed told LiveScience. “It's interesting to see how people respond to it and create their world view in response to that challenge.”

Also as I pointed out before...

Still, today, only 25 percent of adults in Turkey agree that human beings developed from earlier species of animals, whereas 40 percent of people in the United States agree with this scientific fact, Hameed writes. And Turkey is one of the most secular and educated of Muslim countries.

Hameed cites data from a 2007 sociological study by Riaz Hassan which revealed that only a minority in five Muslim countries agree that Darwin’s theory of evolution is probably or most certainly true: 16 percent of Indonesians, 14 percent of Pakistanis, 8 percent of Egyptians, 11 percent of Malaysians and 22 percent of Turks.

The vast majority of people in the Muslim world probably don’t even know what creation science or Darwood’s ToE even means, or what all the fuss is about. However, of those that do, creation science is a pretty new phenomenon for most Muslims, so the idea that they have been teaching this as part of their standard education is a non-starter in so far as the vast majority of Islamic schools are concerned. Thus, the idea that they are teaching creation science in PLO/HAMAS/Al-Qaeda schools and training camps is complete hogwash. And by now, EVEN YOU should know this...that is, if you weren’t willfully blind.

The vast majority of Muslims are right-handed and do not accept the theories of climate change or gay marriages, unless they are told in the schools, newspapers, or TV, that these are the latest western fashions and define who you are. It makes just as little sense to define Muslim faith by what average Muslims think of Creationism versus Evolutionarism, which is not really an issue in the Quran. There has never been such a tradition of debating Darwin in the Muslim world - or even in Europe - as there is in the USA. Thus a correlation between being a Muslim and having seriously thought over any such issues, what ever way, is irrelevant. We could ask Muslims around the world lots of questions and get statistics that correlate rather with urbanization or frequence of TV sets than with the essence of religion.

If most Muslims are creationists and right-handed, and some Muslims are terrorists, it does not mean that being right-handed is related to terrorism. It is indeed a fact, that terrorists are rather godless people than true believers in any religion. Teaching Darwin to Muslims would not save us from acts of terror. Teaching Islam to Muslims might be of better use, because religious people of all faith tend to develop a sense of morals and purpose of life, which gives birth to respect for life and concern (if not fear) of the consequences of death - call that a creation or evolution of resistence against terrorist ideologies!
