In leftist religion and ideology killing in self-defense is a far more heinous crime than murder because killing in self defense is the rational act of a rational person and is the deliberate taking of a human life. Murder is the act of a disordered person who is not rational and therefore is excusable and not criminal at all.

It has come to this: people no longer have a right to defend themselves, and if they do defend themselves, they and their families will be punished by the state. The criminals are officially in charge, and the state is upholding their authority.

As said as it is, the answer to your question is “Yes”.

I am not joking or exaggerating.

British law holds that in a confrontation, if both parties use force (regardless of the justification), both parties are equally culpable. Thus, in the eyes of the law, you will be held responsible if you hurt/maim/kill an assailant to the same degree as will the assailant if he hurts/maims/kills you.

There are some variations across European countries, but, as a general rule, European courts either frown on self-defense or have outlawed it explicitly.

I have read that that is the case over there in the UK.

But I have always wondered, what happens when the honest citizens decide that THEY might as well be criminals themselves?

Wouldn’t the citizens then get better treatment? A whole nation of criminals is what this will lead to.

Just makes you want to go to Greatt Brittain, doesn’t it, folks. [Pronouncing my _T_s there, ‘cause emulating Euro-trash is in style.]

Yes, and let's call everyone in the Americas (that's North, Central and Southern America for you) Ameri-trash for what's going on in Mexico while we're at it...pathetic!

I call this BS. Care to cite some actual laws?

You may as well do it for what is going on in the USA. Maybe it will help stop us from rearing generations of children without fathers.
