[Obama Press Secretary] Robert Gibbs Is Being Kind of a Jerk About the Bowing Thing (With Video)

Because the White House's first explanation about President Obama's bow to King Abdullah that he was bending down to shake hands would only make sense if Obama were nine feet tall, CNN reporter Dan Lothian brought up the controversy again yesterday, this time to press secretary Robert Gibbs. Surely, once the White House had time to reflect on the fact that we have actual video of the moment in question, they would admit that the president had indeed bowed as a simple show of respect to an international counterpart, blamed the "shaking hands" excuse on a well-meaning White House aide, and moved on. But instead Gibbs stuck to the far-fetched story, even sassily dismissing Lothian for asking about something that happened a whole week ago and that Americans weren't even concerned about because they were too busy losing their jobs. Of course, it wouldn't still be a story if Gibbs and company weren't insulting our intelligence with outlandish fairy tales.

The question is: What percentage of that number were illegal ACORN votes that stole the election and misrepresented the will of the People?

Yet these journalists are totally that dumb that they are not even aware of this

has anyone, I mean anyone ever seen the American president laughed at to his face, EVER?
I say this because this is the first time I have ever seen the president laughed at to his face. Look at Sarkozy and other leaders they are laughing at him and most probably thinking what a complete idiot
The the king is probable thinking what a dumb arse we have this fool .
Then the journalists should be pointing this out along with the question DID YOU KISS HIS HAND AND HOW DO YOU SERIOUSLY EXPECT US TO BELIEVE YOU WHEN THE VIDEO SHOWS OTHER WISE?
Course journalist today do not have a brain and are being insulted every day by the white house and they are just to dumb to figure it out
Mr President can you tell us about the pirates and the situation right now
er er er guys we are talking about housing.
FFS
Then this is from the same man who thinks we have 57 states and that Austrian is a language
and they said Bush was thick
the left are doing everything they can right now to hide all these gaff by their messiah, his wife and that loud mouth delusional vice president.

AGREED and I cannot say it loud enough
here in FL the GA media found that 100,000 voters from GA and OH voted in FL, when some were tracked down they were all liberals and blacks mostly blacks probably from ACORN who came up with one excuse after another when they were questioned
then think of all those north easterners who have vacation homos in this states and have in the past been caught voting here and yes all Dems
Then include the illegal lot
Look at the other states like PA and NH where republican observers were not allowed into the voting areas by the black panthers and radical left wing loons
Add onto the the illegal lot, even a CNN guy interviewed this guy and asked how the lines were voting and the guy says alright I have just finished voting for the second time .
CNN response was er OK and let it go instead of reporting the matter even though they had this on film
how does my state go conservative on every ballot question and yet vote for this buffoon even though I know of only two people voting for him .
easy it was so rigged
and lets not forget the pre paid credit cards which had millions and yet the GOP has still not blocked it or banned it .
yes we will face all those millions form overseas again in 4 years unless the GOP get some balls and sort this crap out

At some point even the dunces in the Left Wing Press are liable to revolt. Obama has been treating them like dirt, insulting them, refusing to let them ask questions, and excluding them from his White House parties.
Bill Clinton rewarded his supporters in the press, and punished anyone who worked against him. Obama has simply treated them all like dirt.
Notice that even CNN is beginning to get upset by this.
The British press has been slamming Obama regularly every day, even the most liberal newspapers. How long are the American press going to allow Obama to treat them like a bunch of servants who are beneath his notice?
Talk about “Upstairs, Downstairs.” Obama is the elitest snob the White House has ever seen. And he doesn’t even know how to do THAT right.

No excuses, obama is naive. All through the campaign there was talk of “on the job training” vis-a-vis him as President or Sarah Palin as Vice President had our ticket won. The realistic consensus was that having a VP get some OTJT was probably better than the person in the front seat... We’re seeing that proven now. obama is a babe in the woods when it comes to international politics.

Honestly, I think FL ran the worst campaign possible. There were tons of folks here in South FL willing to serve as poll watchers who just simply were shut out during the early voting. We were experienced people who just dropped through the cracks. I made a ton of calls to be allowed to poll watch in the general election only to be placed in an old lady precinct.
Our poll watcher class was run by a man who took cell phone calls during the class had no hand outs for the class...supposedly they were to be mailed to us but mine never came. That was not a big deal for me since I knew what to look out for..but newer folks were at a loss.
We dug our own grave here. I am more entrenched in the party now and plan to shout louder and point out pizz poor leadership. If they kick me to the curb, well so be it. But I will go down fighting. Will anyone join me in the fight?

OK, next question.
Mr. Gibbs, did obie bow?
Actually, he didn’t bow. He is so tall that he bent down to reach the king, but he went way too far, since he rarely finds people so short, that it looked like a bow.
Mr. Gibbs, you said obie didn’t bow, but the video shows he did.
Oh, crap. There’s a video? OK, I was lying. I’m a lying SOB! But that’s my job. Yes, he did bow. But he didn’t bow in the homage sense, but rather in the traditional American President bow.
Mr. Gibbs, American Presidents don’t bow.
Hmm. Maybe you’ve hit on something there!

The Sitting President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, the man who raised his right hand and swore on Lincolns Bible: in accordance with Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend The Constitution of the United States has in a news conference in the sovereign Nations of Turkey and Indonesia (which means on foreign soil) stated that "We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. uh uh... we consider ourselves uh uh a nation of uh citizens."
From an article found here: http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/politics/pg0040.html
When President Harry Truman wrote to Pope Pius XII in 1947 that "This is a Christian nation.", he certainly did not mean that the United States has an official or legally-preferred religion or church. Nor did he mean to slight adherents of non-Christian religions. But he certainly did mean to recognize that this nation, its institutions and laws, was founded on Biblical principles basic to Christianity and to Judaism from which it flowed. As he told an Attorney General's Conference in 1950, "The fundamental basis of this nation's laws was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings we get from Exodus and Saint Matthew, from Isaiah and Saint Paul. I don't think we emphasize that enough these days. If we don't have a proper fundamental moral background, we will finally end up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the State."
Woodrow Wilson, in his election campaign for President, made the same point: "A nation which does not remember what it was yesterday, does not know what it is today, nor what it is trying to do. We are trying to do a futile thing if we do not know where we came from or what we have been about.... America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify that devotion to the tenets of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture."
The crucial role of Christianity in this nation's formation is not without dispute, although as Revolutionary leader Patrick Henry said: "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship."
John Ashcroft was roundly criticized for his "No King but Jesus" speech at Bob Jones University, but he was only reminding us of our colonial and Revolutionary War heritage. In a 1774 report to King George, the Governor of Boston noted: "If you ask an American, who is his master? He will tell you he has none, nor any governor but Jesus Christ." The pre-war Colonial Committees of Correspondence soon made this the American motto: "No King but King Jesus." And this sentiment was carried over into the 1783 peace treaty with Great Britain ending that war, which begins "In the name of the most Holy and Undivided Trinity... ."
Samuel Adams, who has been called 'The Father of the American Revolution' wrote The Rights of the Colonists in 1772, which stated: "The rights of the colonists as Christians...may be best understood by reading and carefully studying the institution of the Great Law Giver and Head of the Christian Church, which are to be found clearly written and promulgated in the New Testament."
It is frequently asserted by those seeking to minimize Christianity's central role in our nation's founding and history, that the founders themselves were not practicing Christians, but rather were Deists or Agnostics. In a 1962 speech to Congress, Senator Robert Byrd noted that of the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention, 29 were Anglicans, 16-18 were Calvinists, and among the rest were 2 Methodists, 2 Lutherans, 2 Roman Catholics, 1 lapsed Quaker-sometimes Anglican, and only 1 open Deist Benjamin Franklin who attended all Christian worships and called for public prayer.
The last paragraph of this article states:
Can America still be called a Christian nation? It is certainly a more religiously pluralistic and diverse society than it was during the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. There are increasing numbers of non-Christians immigrating to this country, and there has been a rapid rise in adherents to Islam among our population. There are millions of Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Shintoists, Unitarians, Hindus, Wiccans, Naturists, Agnostics, and Atheists, but Christians comprise roughly 84% of the population. Our constitutional legal system is still based on the Jewish/Christian Bible, not the Koran or other holy book. We still observe Sunday, the Christian Sabbath, as an official holiday. Easter and Christmas still have a special place in the holiday lexicon. The Ten Commandments are still on the wall behind the Supreme Court Justices when they take the bench. Our coins still display the motto "In God We Trust." The US is still firmly part of a Western Civilization fashioned by a Judeo-Christian religious ethic and heritage. Alexis de Tocqueville observed more than a century and a half ago, "There is no country in the world, where the Christian religion retains a greater influence over the souls of men than in America." That is still true today. We live, not under a Christian government, but in a nation where all are free to practice their particular religion, in accommodation with other religions, and in accordance with the basic principles of the nation, which are Christian in origin. It is in that sense that America may properly be referred to as a Christian nation.
Therefore, I respectfully request that the Sitting President, Barack Hussein Obama, retract his statement and apologize to this Nation and to the memory of the Founding Fathers for broadcasting to the world (on more than one occasion) that we are not a Christian nation.
May I remind you all that the definition of traitor is one who leads you to believe something that is not true. A traitor who betrays his Country commits treason. And treason is an impeachable offense. Is, in your minds, the Sitting President, Barack Hussein Obama, a traitor yet? What will it take for him to so demonstrate?

As heard from a secret recording made when Zer0 was on the girl's swing set having a smoke: It wasnt a bow. He was looking on the ground when he saw, what looked like a piece of rock cocaine, drop on the ground. It turned out instead to be a piece of ear wax that fell out of one of his earsears that have trouble hearing Axelrod tell him to stick to the Teleprompter and let him fix the Bow Thing.
Of course, there is the ear wax problem. He still can't hear the loud cry to stop the spending, stop putting the USA down, stop his socialist plans, and let us see his birth certificate.

Gibbs: "That's old news."
Watch this carefully, because this is (and is going to be) their MO for situations like this.
Obama makes a serious faux pas. The MSM ignore it until, a week or so later, it's propagated all over the internet to the point where they feel they HAVE to cover it.
So they ask the question, get a brush-off under the auspices of it being "old news". Nothing to see here folks, move on.
In the meantime, the Left-wing hit squads within the talking heads and the nutroots blogosphere are busying lashing out at the evil Republicans/Conservatives for even raising the issue.
