Homeland Security on guard for 'right-wing extremists'
Returning U.S. military veterans singled out as particular threats
WASHINGTON A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed "right-wing extremists" concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats.
The report, titled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," dated April 7, states that "threats from white supremacist and violent anti-government groups during 2009 have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent acts."

I can’t even glance by this headline without feeling inherently ill.
DHS is apparently far more concerned about American patriots than they are about Islamic jihadists.
Being pro-American and a defender of the Constitution is now classifed as being a right-winger by the anti-Americans of the executive branch.
And this is a bad thing?
Let them start!
so where’s our footbaths and hourly prayer breaks with Pat Robertson on live feed?
Where does one sign up? :)
Yes. A Tim McVeigh type attack would be a tragedy.
This should be exposed and roundly ridiculed.
“right-wing extremists” concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty ....
The left is saying these issues are NOT concerns?????
As William Wallace would say, “FREEDOMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!”
Everything will be fine...as long as your not a Patriot.

They're just trying to stay a step ahead!

There are some on this board that do not believe this is authentic. See
from an earlier thread on this.
So now we know why they voted for the war before they voted against it.
Now we know why they no longer protest to end those wars.
Guess they don’t want our troops here.
Charging the 2000 presidential election was 'rigged', the DUmmies swore they were not going to allow it to happen again in 2004 (Kerry defeated like Al Gore in 2000). Bold-type emphasis added by myself.-etl

"if it is decided to fight, be prepared to fight, bring a backpack, entrenching tool, tent, and other equipment of an Infantrymen. You will need it for Bush and his supporters decides it is better to fight than to accept the will of the people, the fight to overthrow them will be a long fight."
"...it takes three things to overthrow a tyrant;...
1. Popular support, you must have the majority of the people on your side (i.e. Democracy, even the Communists and Islamics both try to show they have the Support of the Majority of the People),
2. Organization to perform the overthrow (This is why Madison wrote the First like he did, these are HOW you organize an opposition. Without the First it is hard to organize an opposition and any resistence organized in absence of the rights stated in the First tend to be as tyrannical as what you are opposing)
3. Weapons to push the issue if the leadership that is being overthrown tries to use force to stay in power. You have to be willing to answer force with force. Weapons do not overthrow a tyrant, weapons just protect the people who are overthrowing a tyrant."
"Now, you may say "Hay, you are talking about Islamic and/or Communists groups not 'Western Liberal resistence groups'". And you would be correct. As I said in the beginning the first step in a guerilla war against a tyrant is to first organize. The Islamic and Communists Groups were the best at organizing people. "Western Liberal Resistence Groups" were less effective in organizing resistence groups (And less liked by the CIA and KGB who tended to fund these groups, remember any war is expensive, money talks).
Furthermore since most Islamic and Communist groups tend to be the first groups outlawed they tend to go underground first. Once underground they start to organize and as other groups are outlawed those groups tend to join the opposition which tends to be either Islamic or Communistic. Once outlawed these groups also tend to be controlled by the most fanatic opponents of the Tyrants and these tend to be either Islamic or Communistic. Thus to oppose the Tyrants you have to support a side with enough discipline to get the job done and that tend to be Communist or Islamic."
"...Any weapons we resort to must be "real" weapons not pistols. i.e. Rifles and shotguns. Due to concerns of re-supply (you have to plan for a long battle) such weapons should be limited to very small number of different rounds. Generally restrict yourself to the following rounds:
5.56x 45 (.223 Remington) 7.62x 63 (30-06) 7.62x 51 (.308 Winchester or 7.62 NATO) 7.62 x 39 (7.62mm Russian 7.62 AK Round) 12 Gauge Shotgun. 30-30 Winchester."
"You have more weapons in the above calibers than any other calibers thus should be your first choice in weapons. Saying this I must point out I like the 7x57 and 7.92x57 Mauser rounds and the M1898 Mauser Bolt action Rifle, but the 7.92 (sometime called 8mm Mauser) but these rounds are less common than the above and thus harder to obtain when re-supply is needed (and re-supply will be needed if the struggle lasts for any length of time).
Re-supply of Ammunition has always been the bane of any military operations. Without ammunition you can not fight. To get you ammunition, it is easier if we can keep the number of different rounds to a minimum (i.e. 5.56x45 and 7.62x51). I list the 30-06 and 30-30 winchester rounds for these are two VERY popular rounds and ammunition for both are easy to obtain (the same with the 12 Gauge shotgun). I list the 7.62 AK round do to the huge number of SKSs and AKs imported since the fall of the Soviet Union. I list it for while there are probably more 30-30s and 30-06 rifles out they than 7.62 Aks and SKSs, the Aks and SKSs may very while outnumber the rifles in 5.56x45 and 7.62 NATO.
Also, if it is decided to fight, be prepared to fight, bring a backpack, entrenching tool, tent, and other equipment of an Infantrymen. You will need it for Bush and his supporters decides it is better to fight than to accept the will of the people, the fight to overthrow them will be a long fight."

Hmmm...never once considered myself as a "right wing extremist" for believing deeply in the core principles of our nation. This is very troubling.
If you love this Country or support The Constitution, then by their definition you are a Right Wing Extremist. COUNT ME IN!!!!
From HumanEvents.com, April 29, 2008:
"By all accounts, he [Obama friend and associate, Bill Ayers] was a ferocious, violent, revolutionary Marxist in his halcyon days as a Weatherman leader. He and his Weatherman bombers were enamored of Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Mao Tse-tung -- indeed, all the murderous heroes on the Left. Referring to the Weatherman members in August 1969, he said (according to the FBI): 'Were revolutionary Communists.'
He got off on the groups multiple explosions, too, and discusses them rather lovingly in his memoir.
Ideal Bombing Weather:
'Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon,' he writes (although he concedes it was really a group effort). 'The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.' (p. 256 in the 2003 edition.)

March 6, 1970: "three members of the Weather Underground accidentally killed themselves in a Manhattan townhouse while attempting to build a powerful bomb they had intended to plant at a social dance in Fort Dix, New Jersey -- an event that was to be attended by U.S. Army soldiers. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plot been successfully executed."
"The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
The bomb was packed with nails to inflict maximum casualties upon detonation."
2007 Fort Dix attack plot
A group of six radical Islamist men, allegedly plotting to stage an attack on the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey, United States, were arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on May 7, 2007. They were subsequently charged with planning an attack against U.S. soldiers. The alleged aim of the six men was said to be to "kill as many soldiers as possible". Their trial began on October 20, 2008.
Opening arguments were presented on October 20, 2008.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said the defendants were inspired by jihad saying "Their motive was to defend Islam. Their inspiration was Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
"So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? "I dont want to discount the possibility," he said."

The Fascicrat party loves power and knows that only true Americans can take it from them.
DHS may be surprised to learn that their own ranks are choked with “right wing extremists”.
Interesting, a muslim potus, so now the enemy is Americans. Believing in our heritage makes us a threat. I hope Drudge gets a hold of this.
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them. It is not to inaugurate new programs, but to cancel old ones that do violence to the Constitution, or that have failed in their purpose or that impose on the people an unwarranted financial burden. I will not attempt to discover whether legislation is "needed" before I have first determined whether it is constitutionally permissible. And if I should later be attacked for neglecting my constituents' "interests", I shall reply that I was informed their main interest is liberty and that in that cause I am doing the very best I can.
Can you name the authors of these quotes?
As a veteran I am honored to be among those being targeted.
Obama's "religion" today is Black Liberation Theology. BLT is a communist front movement. Farrakhan's "Nation Of Islam" is another Black Liberation communist front movement. The Black Panthers, The Black Liberation Army and The Weather Underground were all proponents of Black Liberation. In 1981, the WU and BLA murdered three officers in a Brinks truck robbery. They also shot-up police stations and murdered other cops.

The Real Story Behind Rev. Wright's Controversial Black Liberation Theology Doctrine

(some key excerpts)
["(Jose) Diaz-Balart is the son of Rafael Diaz-Balart y Guitierrez (a former Cuban politician). He has three bothers, Rafael Diaz-Balart (a banker), Mario Diaz-Balart (a US Congressman) and Lincoln Diaz-Balart (also a US Congressman). His aunt, Mirta Diaz-Balart, was Fidel Castro's first wife."
JOSE DIAZ-BALART, TELEMUNDO NETWORK: "Liberation theology in Nicaragua in the mid-1980's was a pro-Sandinista, pro-Marxist, anti-U.S., anti-Catholic Church movement. That's it. No ifs, ands, or buts. His church apparently supported, in the mid-'80s in Nicaragua, groups that supported the Sandinista dictatorships and that were opposed to the Contras whose reason for being was calling for elections. That's all I know. I was there.
I saw the churches in Nicaragua that he spoke of, and the churches were churches that talked about the need for violent revolution and I remember clearly one of the major churches in Managua where the Jesus Christ on the altar was not Jesus Christ, he was a Sandinista soldier, and the priests talked about the corruption of the West, talked about the need for revolution everywhere, and talked about 'the evil empire' which was the United States of America."
REV. BOB SCHENCK, NATIONAL CLERGY COUNCIL: "it's based in Marxism. At the core of his [Wright's] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That's very, very dangerous."
SCHENCK: "I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point."

"Their founding document [the Weather Underground's] called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial" movements to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism."..."-Berger, Dan (2006). "they [the Weather Underground] employed revolutionary jargon, advocated armed struggle and black liberation and began bombing buildings, taking responsibility for at least 20 attacks. Estimates of their number ranged at times from several dozen to several hundred."

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obamas pastor in a heated interview about his Churchs teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...
Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.
Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004
In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

They have, the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Any idea on the numbers of ex-military in America?
The number has to be huge.
Yup, its all the same crap to me tho, all anti-freedom. To them all I say, Don’t Tread On Me Bitches.
Homeland Security is also diverting assets into searching cars and trucks leaving the US for Mexico. They haven’t found one gun yet,but that won’t stop them.
A currupt govt does need to fear its armed populace. That fear is what keeps us free.
Par for the course with the current administration, Americans are bad.
Hey DHS- I am a Veteran. I have been to Bosnia, Afghanistan, the Philippines, and Iraq.
Do something about it, you stupid imbeciles.
Welcome to the America you do-nothings helped create.
Don't you mean an islamic attack that McVeigh was party too.
I don't trade in conspiracy theories.
“John Doe number two” was Jose Padilla.
I’d bet on it.
What happened was that these "bloodthirsty GIs" only wanted peace and quiet and a chance to make up for four or five years taken out of their lives.
Then in the '50s the liberals were complaining how "boring" it was under Eisenhower. Even as a callow teen I could see that the liberals were anti-American and took every opportunity to denigrate America and its people.
The biggest tragedy about the OK bombing is Clinton refusal to investigate and go after the Muslim factor in that bombing. If bill had been more concerned about this country than his dick we would not be in the position we are today.
There is no evidence - other than the rumors and innuendo of conspiracy theorists - that Muslims were involved in OKC.
An interesting aside. The DHS warning about right wing extremists being a concern. I have just finished researching a tv series for propaganda research I am conducting. The series is called 24. Kiefer Southerland is the star. He is a global warming fanatic and the series is touted as being the first carbon neutral series.
Here is the rub. The seventh season which is just starting this year is now in its 18th episode. The villain is the head of a private company which has its own private army which has been used over the years to support USA troop efforts. At episode 18 the head of the “patriotic” company had a biological weapon mounted on missiles at its facility in virginia. He is threatening to fire the missiles at US cities. He is blackmailing the president, a woman, who vaguely resembles Hillary. Do you get the allusions? The terrorists are white males who consistently refer to themselves as patriots. They are threatening to destroy whole cities of American people. The implied references and images condition a person to the idea that right wing extermists are the enemy that we have to be suspicious of and to disarm. It also takes aim at Blackwater. The head of the terrorist conspiracy are all white guys who are “patriotic”. This popular series is being presented in a way that makes it synonymous with this Bulldooky DHS report. Female like Hillary president. A tv series conditions people to an idea. The DHS report makes it believable. It makes taking down Blackwater easier, it slanders the idea of militias, makes anyone who thinks of themselves as patriots look bad, and it makes a Hillary presidential run look good in the eyes of many.
PS, in this series previously, the black president was the one with integrity. He was assassinated by a bunch of white guys and the white president was associated with the assassination. Yes there were muslim bad guys but most seasons they were totally aligned with and dependent upon white right wing patriots. Never was there a bad left wing organization anywhere in the picture. The left wing when they were in the episodes were ideological demonstrators, at worst they were misguided. This is a very left wing show.
Can you imagine a show devoted to counter terrorism which does not dedicate even one season to the super bad muslim death cult acting totally alone. Not even one season.
Television which is run primarily by left wing idealogues have been promoting an agenda for many years. This time they are going after a well-regulated bunch of people.
It may be the time they meet up with the Irish in all of us.
Don't worry. It is only the US Government, Homeland Security, the FBI, State and Local Police that would see us as extremists.
Yes, it does. We constructed and used ANFO charges quite a bit in the SF Engineer School at Ft Bragg. It is a slow charge with a lot of pushing power.
Do you recall when all militant radicals were left wing liberals like the SLA, William Ayers, etc?
Who does that leave to defend us? Ourselves, I guess. The Obama administration has now targeted returning veterans from the war as well, so I guess that dispels the myth of liberals “supporting troops but not the war” once and for all.
