Legal left cools toward Obama

It’s not just Paul Krugman anymore.

A growing chorus on the legal left is cooling toward President Barack Obama as a result of recent actions by the Justice Department vigorously defending the Bush administration in what it termed the war on terror.

“Obama Position on Illegal Spying: Worse Than Bush,” a large graphic declared over the weekend on the home page of a respected group advocating freedom on the Internet, Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Obama has been pilloried by a liberal TV icon who was one of President George W. Bush’s most vociferous critics, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann.

“During his run for the presidency, Barack Obama, who taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago, argued strongly against the Bush administration’s use of executive authority, including its self-justification, its rationalization of the warrantless wiretapping of American citizens,” Olbermann said on his show last week. “That was then. This is now. ... Welcome to change you cannot believe in — or sue over.”

“Obama Position on Illegal Spying: Worse Than Bush,”

The DNC has never had a problem with wire-tapping. They just don't like it when you do it to the enemy.

I’ve noticed that liberals only criticize when the power belongs to someone other then themselves.

I was reading the local lefty broadsheet this weekend. They’re (1) pissed, or (2) providing excuses for his lameness, the most common is that he “inherited” the problems he’s facing. Yeah, OK, but that’s what the president does and every president before him has done, although with a bit more maturity than the current occupant. Can you imagine Truman coming into office and acting like The Kenyan? ‘Hey, I’ve got a world war to fight—whaddaya expect, fer chrissake? That damn cripple screwed me!’

I love it when the marxists and MSNBC fairies fight amongst themselves.

Let’s sit back and watch the catfights, then shoot the survivors.

MSNBC - More Sh*t & Nothing But Crap

Keith Olbermann - the newmedia’s answer to Charlie Manson without the fork
Chris Matthews - that tingly feeling up my leg was Olbermann’s tongue

Krugman - a marxist in a tie. If you flushed him down the toilet nobody would notice or care

Obama - the nightmare that keeps on betraying America

Gee: I’m in a good mood today despite a stomach virus.
Er. Excuse me while I go take another Olbermann.

I thought Obama was the AntiChrist (jury is still out though, so don't destroy the bumper stickers yet)...

But I am surprise and nonplussed by the fact that he is, like most American Presidents (minus Cahter), fashioned by the pressures of the office.

However much our world has slipped into a parallel universe...we are still very much a part of it.

What's next?

Don’t hold your breath. It’s taken months for me to convince conservatives/Freepers that we are owned by this guy. It will take years before Leftists wake up to the fact that he owns them too. By then, it will be too late.

I suspect he is fashioned more by his desire for power and control.

This all temporary.

Leftists aren’t shy about moving the goal posts, and that’s what they’ll do now, just to make sure he measures up.

I suspect he is fashioned more by his desire for power and control.

There are only two powers who deign to control this world (and of course those who are their lieutenants)...

Are you saying and willing to provide proof thereof that O'Bammy is one of those?

Please remember and recognize that you and I are on the same side!

Just taking him at his word:

August/08: Speech in Germany in which he announced he is a citizen of the world.

11/2/08: Campaign speech in which he said he intended to "change the world."
