When taxes are so high that people find it tough to give then the government is stealing the abiilty to give with a cheerful heart.
I wasn’t thinking so much about deductions.
I see your point but would you seriously no longer have a cheerful heart? I give b/c I have been blessed and know that so many are in need - I also give b/c my church needs to survive and it costs money.
