There is a deeply disturbing report that Columbia University has granted tenure to a teacher who used his classroom as a platform for propagating offensive teachings about Jews - and bullied his students to boot.
Joseph Massad should have no place on the faculty of a world-class institution of higher learning, let alone a university located in New York. He showed himself to lack the quality of mind and temperament necessary to serve among the Columbia professoriate.
Massad is a Jordanian-born Palestinian who teaches in the department of Middle East and Asian languages and cultures. That he does not belong in Morningside Heights became clear in 2005, when a university investigation concluded he "exceeded commonly accepted bounds" of teaching.
How? By threatening to banish a student who had asked a question that challenged Massad's Israel-is-evil point of view. "If you're going to deny the atrocities being committed against Palestinians, then you can get out of my classroom," he said.
On another occasion, Massad demanded that a student, a former Israeli soldier, tell him how many Palestinians he had killed.

Sounds to me like to fits right in.
The only reason he has that job is because he is on the side of the enemies of civilization.

Our universities are being overrun with America hating liberals who are teaching all of our children to hate America too. But they even go a step further by also hating God, religion and any outward show of patriotism or love of country. That is what our universities are fostering and what the future holds for our country if these insane liberals are not stopped right now!
As long as Jewish (and other) parents keep eagerly forking over $40,000 a year to send their little darlings to this “Ivy League” school, why should Columbia’s administration change anything? I don’t know what percentage of the Columbia’s student body is Jewish, but it’s huge.
Please tell me that NO ONE who would claim to be a conservative donates a PENNY as an alumnus to ANY College or University.

Have you lloked at Pepperdine, Hillsdale, SMU, and a number of religious colleges?
While I recognize the wide spread academentia in most institutes of higher learning, there are some that are uninfected socialism/liberalism.
Those few do deserve support.
