The dishonest Rick Sanchez of CNN
CNN | 15 April 2009 | Self

Posted on 04/15/2009 1:01:50 PM PDT by sauropod

I was flipping around the dial looking at the coverage of other networks' coverage of the Tea Parties. I happened to catch Rick Sanchez of CNN interviewing a Tea Party organizer.

First thing he did was pick out an objectionable sign and make the guy defend it. The sign had a white hand with dollar bills in it handing them to a black hand and the sign read "I'm not your ATM."

Second thing he did was show an excerpt from a youtube video that was sourced by Huffpo where a guy was talking some crazy stuff and the girl taking the video screamed out "Burn the books."

Now, I happened to hear this discussed on Glenn Beck's show on Monday. Turns out this was at a 9-12 project meeting and the girl was a plant as proved by her other video postings. She was deliberately looking to make the event look kooky.

Beck discussed this in some detail and there was a gentleman that was on the tape asking her if she was sincere in what she was saying. The gentleman also phoned into Beck's show.

I would not have known the background to this if I hadn't been listening to Monday's show. However, I believe that Sanchez did. He said the video has "gone viral."

It is completely scummy and dishonest of Sanchez to pull crap like this. My opinion of him has sunk even lower than previously.

Headline on MSNBC right now:

RADICAL RIGHT-WING THREAT?
There are currently 926 hate groups, up from 888 last year

And above the text they're showing video of US soldiers in training, and Americans holding and inspecting handguns.

Imagine what people are thinking if they just happen to walk by a TV running MSNBC (ie throughout Rockefeller Center in NYC) right now...

“The sign had a white hand with dollar bills in it handing them to a black hand and the sign read “I’m not your ATM.””

Are not the hands of our black President, Obama, black?

Not to mention, true conservatives don’t base their political views on race but FACTS.

“Are not the hands of our black President, Obama, black?”

That’s what occured to me immediately, that the sign meant to say that the taxpayer is not Obama’s ATM. Since the majority of taxpayers are white and Obama is (half) black, the coloring of the sign is pretty accurate. Seems to me that news organizations shouldn’t read much of anything into the receiving hand being black. Unless it’s more of that “coded” imagery and language I’m always hearing about.

Was it a twin-coiled Cleveland steamer?

It barely counts if it isn’t twin-coiled.

I was unaware of that.

He needs to be publically embarrassed in a big way.

I recorded almost all of the segment I am talking about. How to get it out to the masses?

I also want to relay this to Glenn Beck. I think he’d be interested in this. Pointers?

I heard that. This is why I think Beck would be interested in this segment.

CNN is actually losing in the ratings to MSNBC! Apparently their only answer is to try and out-commie Olbermann. Sanchez is a drunk-driving killer who should be in prison.

Several years ago, Sanchez was a local TV anchorman for Channel 7 in South Florida. This station was universally despised as the body bag and weather hysteria station. They chased after every mourning relative of someone who died in a crime or accident and hyperventilated over any sign of a hurricane that might possibly wipe South Florida out. Sanchez often delivered this stuff day in and day out as if he was Walter Cronkite. When I saw that CNN hired him I laughed as I thought that he was a perfect type for spewing leftist propaganda.

MSNBC ran the scroll that the Tea Parties throughout the country were arranged by Fox News and the RNC! I pray the dems who attend will take note of the unfair reporting.

Rich Sanchez was caught in a fraud about AK-47s. He and a deputy put on a demo of full auto vs semi auto at cider block targets.

It was filmed and edited to make it look like the semi-auto did as much damage as a full auto weapon.

Turns out that when they were firing the semi-auto, they fired it into the ground and not the cider blocks show.

NOTE TO SANCHEZ: Next time call NBC and see if they’ll loan you an exploding pick up.

Didn’t James Bond kill Sanchez by setting him on fire?
