Thanks also to FReeper ADM5 for some of these. We had over a thousand folks show up, including Congressman Gohmert, who actually got emotional over the response he received.

Our local McAlaster's Deli gave free tea to everyone there.![]()

Awesome
Gotta love AMERICANS.
Nice Job and Thanks!
We are seeing something HUGE! Regardless of CNN OR MSNBC or the White House ignoring us hard working American’s who are fed up. The mainstream would rather show BO the new Dog running and peeing in the white house!!!! The people are SPEAKING!
Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge
I have been extremely busy (work/job) this afternoon, so just checking a little now, and I am quite overwhelmed by the turnouts being reported and pictures shown, etc., and grateful for those who have been so active in this process.

Ignorance is the most expensive commodity we have.
Check out how to punctuate at the end of a sentence.
Thanks for posting those! I miss TX!
Thank you so much! I wish I could have been there.
Brings back memories from childhood. I grew up in Longview.

Great pics. I was pleased with the turnout, and honored that Louie Gohmert was able to be there.
Are you from Longview, too? We’re everywhere!

From the crowd shot you posted of Tyler earlier, I thought Longview had as many or more.
So the 1500 seems about right. Very successful, IMO.
Just got off a chat with a friend who works at the court house, she said it was spotless when she left this afternoon, not a piece of trash was left out, nothing overturned.. Proud of our town, unlike libs, we pick up after ourselves.
Congrats! My cousin was a county judge up there several years ago.
I’m from Longview and I was there....didn’t know what to expect since it’s in the middle of the day. Had to park 2 blocks away, though, and as I approached I heard myself saying “I’ll be damned!”
They said 1,000, but I tried to assess the crowd, and I’m absolutely certain it was closer to 2,000. It was AMAZING.
Only complaint: they should have put the speakers on a podium, you couldn’t really see them from the back or even middle of the crowd. You can tell we’re not to experienced on the right in the protest game.
CONGRATS TO ALL. Longview did REALLY GOOD!!
Hank
A tidy bunch of right-wing extremists, we are.
I work in Longview. Ended up going to Dallas not expecting Longview to do much - I was wrong apparently :)
Dangit! We would’ve had 1501 if you’d shown up.
How was the Dallas Tea Party?
I overheard a reporter saying 6,000 before it even started, but I have no clue how accurate that is.
I’m in the process of getting all my pictures together and will post at some point.
Bummer I missed ya.. Did I happen to catch you in any of these photos?
I checked all the pictures but I did not see any of me. I did not get there until about 12:10 and stayed mainly at the back of the crowd.
Very nice pictures that someday you can show your grand kids, and how you were part of history that hopefully will change the direction of this country.
