Support for Democratic Congressional candidates hit a new low this week, resulting in a tie between Republicans and Democrats in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 38% would vote for their districts Democratic candidate while 38% would choose the Republican....

I hope the GOP is paying attention. They dropped the ball last November.
The news media must be slacking off. Either that or maybe people are starting to see thru their spin.
He is in trouble!
Also, the Congressional pole is VERY encouraging!
If we can just keep the crazy 3rd Party kooks at bay, and get everyone to fight in the GOP primaries for conservatives, we will be in great shape in 2 years!
Even the most accurate and scientific poll will misunderestimate overwhelmingly solid rat support by dead, illegal, and serial voters.

We also got to find a way to encourage lefty spoiler parties. There’s a fair chunk of civil liberty minded lefties that don’t like Obama’s hypocrisy on their pet issues.
Well they are not getting any money from me. I’m fed up with my state party in VA. I’ll give funds directly to the candidates of my choosing. We need to show them who runs the party. I just wish Romney would go away. We didn’t want him no matter how much money he spent. If he wants to be of use he should run for Senate in his home state of Massachusetts. I’m tired of global warming, big government believers, pretend conservatives.
You know... I think so but I cannot recall... too late tonight. I know one thing... if they have not... NOW is the time! No more excuses... the Nations existence depends on DOING THE RIGHT THING! (not shouting)

Imagine what these numbers are going to look like in 2010, which is only next year.
The Dumbocrats are really in trouble.
Read the details in the table adjacent to the full article.
The dems are down from a peak of 50% to the present 38%.
The GOP is ONLY up from a low of 35% to the present 38%.
That doesn’t tell me the nation has forgotten the big spending of the GOP under Pres. Bush, of no veto pen.
The mission for the GOP, as unified as possible, SHOULD BE to oppose spending, giving maximum credibility to the position of more fiscally responsible government.
Absent that, they offer no credible alternative, to what in Nov. 2010 wil be deficit bar charts that would drive Ross Perot to madness.
Romney came out for amnesty? I was warming up to him...do you have a link?

Those old Republican hot buttons are growing cold. For proof, check out a recent interview with Mitt Romney, a former presidential candidate and ex-governor of Massachusetts.
According to TheHill.com, a congressional newspaper that publishes when Congress is in session, ‘’Romney believes that one way to attract more minorities to the GOP is to pass immigration reform before the next election, saying the issue becomes demagogued by both parties on the campaign trail.’’ The article also quotes Romney as saying, ``We have a natural affinity with Hispanic-American voters, Asian-American voters.’’
