Sign reads: "Can We Bankrupt The Country? Yes We Can!"
Sign reads: 'Keep Your Hands Off Of My Piggy Bank'
Sign reads: "This Is Change We CAN'T Believe in"
I messed up here and chopped off the lower portion of this sign.
NYC TEA PARTY HEADQUARTERS:
Here's a few photos I took.
Not a FReeper but I liked his sign.
thefactor's got your back!
That was a big sign NoGrayZone
NoKoolAidforMe and Incorrigible with the rally flag
Newt Gingrich at the end of the night.
WOW! I didn’t see a sign there I didn’t love. Good job NYC!
"It is anti-government, it is anti-CNN, it is not appropriate for family viewing..."
AWESOME pics (and from NYC even)!
Thanks so very much for posting! :-)
BTW, Tell Daddy Bloomberg hello. ;-)
Those people and their signs were just remarkable.
The police look like they had a hard job at this protest!
The (dem) mayor of Denver was on the radio this morning and was asked about crowd control/problems at the Denver rally yesterday (5000 folks). He said “Oh, these were republicans. They’re always well-bahaved”.
I liked the lady holding the Gadsden Flag
standing on the Soviet flag.
AMEN to that!
Love the Chinese guy’s sign on a sheet of plywood!
Also, notice that the police in the pictures look fairly relaxed considering they were dealing with radical right-wing extremists.
So much for the “white only” meme. I saw a lot of asians and hispanics at the Chicago rally plus a few African Americans, I guess they don’t count.
Thank you !
Sorry. I wanted to be free to move around and take lots of pictures. Besides, I got there a little late. I stopped by Obama's pals Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn's old bomb factory (townhouse on 11th Street) and took some pics there also...
BOTH OBAMA AND OSAMA HAVE
FRIENDS WHO WANTED TO BOMB FORT DIX
[note: The white trim around the door of the house next door has since been painted a dark color. So if you want to compare these old photos with the new ones I took, the bomb factory house is *two* houses away from the house with the white trim around door. It's the one with the angular bay window projecting outwards. The house has been substantially modified upon rebuilding.-etl]
From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
March 6, 1970: "three members of the Weather Underground accidentally killed themselves in a Manhattan townhouse while attempting to build a powerful bomb they had intended to plant at a social dance in Fort Dix, New Jersey -- an event that was to be attended by U.S. Army soldiers. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plot been successfully executed."
"The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
The bomb was packed with nails to inflict maximum casualties upon detonation."
2007 Fort Dix attack plot
A group of six radical Islamist men, allegedly plotting to stage an attack on the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey, United States, were arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on May 7, 2007. They were subsequently charged with planning an attack against U.S. soldiers. The alleged aim of the six men was said to be to "kill as many soldiers as possible". Their trial began on October 20, 2008.
Opening arguments were presented on October 20, 2008.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said the defendants were inspired by jihad saying "Their motive was to defend Islam. Their inspiration was Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
"So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? "I dont want to discount the possibility," he said."
New York Times, September 11, 2001:
"No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen"
From the Chicago Sun Times, November 13, 2008:
Ayers: Obama was 'family friend'
New afterword to 2001 book, Ayers describes Barack Obama as 'family friend'
"This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English..."
Same thing here in New York City.
“Socialism smells like B.O.”
“Got a job? Thank a “rich” person.”
Thanks for posting these pics, The blonde woman in the second photo was also at the first tea party in february and was a very passionate speaker.
