Barack Obama today released four top secret memos that allowed the CIA under the Bush administration to torture al-Qaida and other suspects held at Guantánamo and secret detention centres round the world.
But, in an accompanying statement, Obama ruled out prosecutions against those who had been involved. It is a "time for reflection, not retribution," he said.
Ten techniques are approved, listed as: attention grasp, walling (in which the suspect could be pushed into a wall), a facial hold, a facial slap, cramped confinement, wall standing, sleep deprivation, insects placed in a confinement box (the suspect had a fear of insects) and the waterboard.
In the latter, "the individual is bound securely to an inclined bench, which is approximately four feet by seven feet. The individual's feet are generally elevated.
A cloth is placed over the forehead and eyes. Water is then applied to the cloth in a controlled manner........produces the perception of 'suffocation and incipient panic'."
'Walling' involved use of a plastic neck collar to slam suspects into a specially-built wall that the CIA said made the impact sound worse than it actually was. Other methods include food deprivation.

and... as far as these "torture" methods go... color me underwhelmed. I wouldn't really call any of these "torture". Aggressive? sure. Extremely unpleasant? You bet. But are they even *close* to being on par with torture methods done by our enemies, ever? Sorry... laughable.
They're methods for working on the mind, and don't even seem to focus on pain, and certainly not bodily harm. They're like "kinder, gentler" torture. :-)

His agenda is to redistribute wealth using "historic justice" for the benefit of the downtrodden at the cost of the "greedy" whose ancestors were the alleged persecutors. The children of those so called persecutors must pay the wages of their ancestry. Sound familiar? The same argument was rife in Europe about 70 years ago. No one resisted them , and millions of people died. The same will happen here if Obama remains undefeated.

We see it in the use of NSA intercepts of Americans non foreign communications, which were made inside the USA.These are all very real signs as to the true policy of the Obama nationalist socialist hidden agenda. We see Laws passed in congress without full readings, closed caucuses on legislation without Republican representatives. You might think this distinction is unimportant , but it is, because Fascist must be fought differently than Communists using different weapons. Fascists respond reactively to ridicule and derision, communists respond only to the barrel of the gun, force majeur. In this you must understand why the Obama administration has over-reacted with such fear of the tea party movement. This is why the Obama movement is so sensitive of any criticism, because the truth is the greatest weapon against him. It must be presented as derision and ridicule to burst the narcism and so called charismatic motivation of the movement, their greatest weakness.
Just as Mussolini and Hitler had to destroy the conservative wealthy classes of their respective nations, so Obama does the same today, for he cannot impose his fascist Utopia on America while conservatives still have power through the vote and free speech.Therefore they seek to destroy conservatism utterly as witnessed by the recent attacks by Obama on Rush Limbaugh for example, and the continuing attacks on President Bush, who did nothing to deserve this redefinition of history.
In short, these reasons are the very essence of why American citizens are arming themselves, for the government will seek to remove their freedoms through redefining them as only relative to certain situations within a fascist government.A fascist can have free speech, but when a conservative exercises the same freedom of speech, it is branded "hate speech," and not protected, for example.
America can vote out Obama by educating the electorate, or America might have to fight the federal government at the state level, or in the streets. It really depends how far Obama wants to push his Utopia rather than governing a Republic from the center as most presidents are required to do historically. The weaker patriots appear, the harder Obama will push. So far he has been pushing his Utopia pretty hard.Controls the MSM through a misplaced ideological morality, trucks with the traditional enemies of America,fires the head of GM without shareholder input, reduces military spending across the board, and sequesters billions of dollars to establish a national socialist infrastructure of politial organizers nationally , paid for with tax dollars under several laws, including the "Give" law.
America is beginning to awaken to the Obama threat, and now Homeland Security seeks a way to subvert Americans growing understanding of the threat to liberty that Obama and his plans represent.It is everyone's hope that Obama can be voted out. If not, the patriots of America will have to stand to once again, or relinquish the Republic into the tender mercies of a Natonalist Socialist State, wherein only the Socialist party faithful will be allowed wealth, power, influence, and a measure of peace. Do you know how bad it is when Leon Panetta said they should not do this? He understands the situation that everyone from the CIA is now being placed. Releasing Top Secret memos is beyond my comprehension.

It is not. I saw that picture for the first time in the 70s, when I was 17. It was an execution in (IIRC) Libya. It's a nauseating picture. I was telling my son about it the other day... I don't think I'll show him.
