I sent this to my pastor and he said “GeorgeTown should be embarrassed and is a disgrace to the church ....” I agree.

...and decorative edging along the wall that spelled out the Jesuit motto "Ad majorem Dei gloriam"—"To the greater glory of God."

It's easier to cover up "Ad majorem Dei gloriam" than to change it to something appropriate to the occasion like "Ad minorem Dei gloriam"

Obama wanted all symbols of Jesus covered, note also the array of bunting and flags. What does Christ say about denying HIM?!!!

If I’ve ever had a good idea...this is it.

For now on, everyone at any and every protest associated with Obama should simply say... IHS.

Imagine thousands holding up this one simple sign. It would be one of those things that people would ask over and over...What does that mean? And the word would spread. And the media would go crazy trying to dance around and ignore it.

Actually the letters were hidden behind a piece of black plywood, I think somebody said on that thread. But it’s always good to be quoted. Should attract a few new freepers.

I first came to FR when the New York Times ran a long hit piece on conservative reactions to the Vince Foster scandal, and incautiously mentioned FR’s Whitewater site, as it was called then, by name.

Georgetown also was extremely proud of its most famous or infamous alumnus, Bill Clinton, and used to swoon over him back in the 90s. Pretty much as Fr. Reese now swoons over Barry.

This idiot wouldn't make a pimple on a Christian's ass.

My intention is not to piss off any Catholic Freeper, but my lifelong respect of the Catholic Church and schools has taken a terrible beating of late.

This makes me sick. It makes one wonder what kind of upbringing a person like this has had. What does it show our children? It tells me that if he doesn’t have God in his heart, then his sense of compassion has flown south!

He has obviously sold his soul!

Remember when they crucified Attorney John Ashcroft for wanting a partially nude statue covered behind him when he spoke?

John Ashcroft was embarrassed by the nudity behind him, so is Barry Obama embarrassed by the Cross behind him? Must be.

It is all so confusing, Obama wasn't embarrassed when he was campaigning with the Cross behind him, Maybe Obama is just a measly little superficial hypocrite.

If he did not like the symbols and what they symbolized, or if he thought it somehow conflicted with the separation of church and state to have a cross and our Lord and Saviour’s name above the flags, — well, then, he should not have accepted the speaking engagement there.

He was a guest for gosh sake. What kind of a guest goes to someone’s house and asks them to change their decorating? A very ill-mannered uneducated crude rude guest, that’s who.

With hundreds of years confronting demonic influences, I wonder if the Vatican has a record of any particularly powerful phrase or technique that was useful in expelling determined evil from a place? A means to establish a barrier of protection against powerful, dark supernatural forces.

I know that demonology is no longer in fashion, but in the past great time and effort was spent in studying ways to confront and deport, if not destroy, such evil.

C’mon. Cut Pres—ent Ogabe some slack. He hosted an easter egg roll on the White House lawn, didn’t he? The man is obviously deeply religious.
